It's Baby Luka being beautiful and amazing as always! I was trying out some new camera moves with my gimbal in preparation for an upcoming shoot for the WI Pyramid Model for Social Emotional Competence.
Safe to Ride
I love filming our Eau Claire Transit buses! Yes, it is intimidating to film an active transit system that's always moving. And yes, I went out to film with my car's clock 10 minutes slow leading to confusion and several missed shots in a row on a bitterly cold day. But the warm welcome from the drivers and riders is what I remember best. I felt energized after each day of filming people. Overall, the creation of this video was ecstatic!
See how people safely ride the bus during the pandemic in Eau Claire in this delightful video.
A lot of good folks helped make this video possible!

Huge thanks to Ross & Jen for being generally awesome folks and making this video possible.
Client testimonials are a powerful marketing tool. I highly recommend them as one of the first videos to create for any organization. Do you have some happy clients who would go on record praising your business or non-profit?

The Creation
GOD IS everywhere and everything, all of the time. But we often forget that all is connected, all is God, and we are a part of that. In our ignorance, we can feel separate, alone, abandoned, left to suffer - like Jesus Christ nailed to the Cross.
It’s a funny thing to remind God that, yes, you are still God. It seems to be a big part of what our Life experience is all about - feeling separate and coming back to Unity.
One popular method to return to Oneness is the ritual of Communion. My mother, Reverend Colleen Kwong, has offered the blessing of Communion for 25+ years. She has a gift of allowing the Divine, healing and loving energy of Christ flow through her and deeply touch the person receiving the sacrament.
Do the dishes make a difference? Does it matter if bread and wine are offered on plastic or ceramic; mass-produced or artisan?
Colleen thought that it might help the ritual of Communion feel more special and sacred, and thus prime people to experience Divine presence if she had an elegant artisan ceramic communion set.
As a skilled potter and pastor, she is uniquely qualified to create liturgical ceramics of all kinds. It’s been a joy to watch her business grow and hear positive feedback from customers all over the country and beyond.
We created this video to offer insight into Colleen’s journey from potter to pastor and back to potter again. Our life journey often resemble a circle. But I’ve heard it said that it’s actually a spiral. Each time we go around, we’re a little bit higher (and wiser) than the last time.
This video was a joy to make. Reworking and adapting the script was an extremely collaborative and creative process. It was fun to talk about my Mom’s journey and gain a new perspective on my own childhood. I’m even in the video, as a little boy posing in the group photo outside the pottery studio.
Thanks to Julia, Genevieve, and Peter for helping us make this video.
