OverTesting
By Steven R. Berryman
I'm not an overpaid journalist who writes simply because he has to make a deadline. I'm simply a citizen who pays attention to details and holds on to the information till the storyline makes sense to me.
At the very beginning of the pandemic you will recall that president trump's vice president, Mike Pence employed Americans to stay secluded for only 2 weeks and that's all it would take to beat this thing called covid before it could overrun hospitals.
Pence fully admitted that this would only slow the inevitable spread but that everybody would eventually be exposed to it and this measure was taken to reduce capacities capacities problems at hospitals.
At this current juncture with omicron, space it seems like all bets are off. Our leaders cannot even agree on How to measure where we are? Is it by death count, is it by hospital beds filled, is it by people who test positive even with no symptoms?
Well if Mike Pence's stipulation stipulation and excuse for lockdown was was legitimate then we are all now in trouble.
Biden We'll now, within a month, send out testing kits to the homes of all Americans who request one which would be in the hundreds of millions potentially.
This means that many asymptomatic Americans will test positive as has been the trend since the beginning of this.
If you've been 15 or 20% of Americans tested and are asymptomatic test positive is test positive in panic and run to hospitals, we will have the overwhelming circumstance that had been feared come true.
Hospitals will turn around people with chest pain, people needing cancer testing you can cancel testing, and other life and other life threatening situations because of the confusion and compounding issues issues regarding overwhelmed health care. And of course the mental health and anxiety level of Americans will continue to go off the charts. Entire generation of children will be emotionally scared for life and have their learning distorted.
It has recently been published that no matter what we do and no matter what kind of masks we wear that eventually 60% of everybody in America today that has not gotten covid will be exposed to it and we'll get some level of is the level of theIs virus.
If the experts agree that this is unavoidable I suggest that we get back to a better form of what was once normal before we continue to wreck our society and our economy.
