Before leaving for Canada, Evan spent his day hitting a few dams on his way to meet up with the Sportsmen. At his last spot, he landed a beautiful 40" musky. This river bruiser hammered an IC7. This fish was a good sign of things to come for our trip to Canada! Congratulations on a beastly fish Evan!

It's been a bit since the Sportsmen returned from a week long trip to Sandy Beach Lodge on Trout Lake, Ontario, to celebrate bachelor party! What a trip it was! Just about everyone caught a new PB Pike, the walleyes didn't stand a chance, the sunsets/rises were beautiful, we could go on and on about this trip. What an experience it was. While we did have some filming equipment issues, we will be bringing back the Northwoods Report to share the parts of our trip we got recorded and talk about our experiences north of the border! Thank you to the staff at Sandy Beach Lodge for an amazing experience and we cannot wait to return!

Day 3 of Southern Zone Wisconsin Musky Opener, the Sportsmen landed 3 more muskies. Another chunky prespawn female on a Grounded Baits Big Smickershad and two other mid 30 inch fish on suicks. Collin's fish hit a Suick that was custom painted by Daniel. Overall, the weekend was super productive and we'll have a banger video coming your way soon!

Southern Zone Wisconsin Musky Opener was a success for the Sportsmen, 4 muskies in two days, 3 of which were on different colors of Grounded Baits Big Smickershads! The muskies couldn't resist em! This past weekend the sportsmen had, possibly, their best weekend of musky fishing ever! At the same spot in two nights, 7 muskies were bagged between Luke, Daniel, and Collin, 6 being off of suckers and one off of a Musky Frenzy IC-9 black ice bucktail. At least 3 other muskies were lost and some nice Pike were caught! Max and Daniel caught their biggest pikes to date and Luke landed an absolute beast of a Wisco Gator! Not only did Daniel also beat his PB musky but Collin did too! The full moon paired with a major pre-turnover cold snap triggered some hard fall feed bag bites! Way to go fellas! Taps and Tackle Co.
