Overview The Armed groups such as LRA (the lord's resistance army), the Arab Islamic nomads known as Ambororo, the seleka islamic armed group from chad, and the National Salvation Front (NAS) AS forces and other armed groups present in the state earlier this year are on a mission of establishing their bases in the state.
western equatoria state is one of the ten (10) states of the republic of South Sudan that borders countries like DR. Congo to the south-west, Central Africa to the west and Chad to the north-west of the country. The state is made up of ten counties inhabited by different ethnicities of the state who live in harmony with the Azande who are the largest ethnic group in the state. The strategic location of the state has made it a hub to different armed groups who keep flooding the state for the purpose of establishing bases where they can be moving and committing their atrocities and running back for cover. Some of these groups operate at the border points of the remote parts of the three (3) countries DR. Congo, central Africa republic and Chad with South Sudan as it's conducive for them to hide casily, In reference to the above mentioned subject, we the western equatoria youth in the strongest term possible hereby rejecting the presence of any armed group in our state hence we call on your brave leadership to consider this as a serious issue and push these people out of our ancestral land. This is the rainy season now and the presence of these armed groups is a threat to the local community more so when it comes to cultivation as the community depends heavily on farming making it a threat for food security.
Goals
1, Destabilize the citizens of Western Equatoria State 2. R**e, Kidnap & Committ horrife atrocities to gain control of our strategic locations
3. Bribe local Chiefs to allow them to set up their bases
4. Recruit child soldiers to destabilize the region
5. NAS plan is to gather in one place to fight the Government of South Sudan. They claim that West Equatoria State is the best zone for them to fight the Government of South Sudan.
6. NAS wants to collect South Sudan Natural resources at the border point for their own benefits.
Specifications
The following are some of the atrocities committed by The National Salvation Front (NAS) intervals of time: On 21st April 2020 the forces loyal to Gen Thomas Cirrilo who have teamed up with Ambororo and forces of the LRA attacked people at the border of DRC- Congo in Gangura Payam Yambio County West Equatoria State which resulted in the dead of two (2) people. Two (2) Youths were arrested and beheaded under the directives of General John Kenyi Luburon the Deputy Chief of Staff for training in Central.
Equatoria State. On 22nd of April 2020 the above mentioned rebels also attacked civilians in Bangasu payam Yambio W.E.S. and arrested Ten (10) youth, until today their whereabouts remains unknown. On the 23 of April 2020 a senior commander of SSPDF James Nando sent his forces to Buremaku and Namatundu area to assess the situation of the areas, They found a elderly women who claimed she was r***d by National Salvation Front (NAS) soldiers after she refused to give them food. She briefed the SPDF officers of all the atrocities committed by the few NAS soldiers struggling to set up camp in the region. She told them they are mostly from Central Equatoria State loyal to General kenyi Luburon. Also the woman told the officers that NAS Child Soldiers told her that they were going to meet with the group of Santo Uku in Tambura County and the group of Seleka at the border of South Sudan with CAR they have stolen from a local citizen to Ambush the current Government of South Sudan. Seleka is a small armed islamic army from Chad, according to the information on ground, their islamic base is in Biria. Biria is in the border of Central Africa Republic with South Sudan in Wau County Western Bah el- gazal State and Darfur. Also in the information Seleka comes in numbers to Biria, They are well over seven thousand (7,000) well trained Islamic soldiers and are divided into four (4) great areas; 1, 4,000 armed men to Mbomu river which are about 12miles to Ezo County. 2. 1500 armed men to Bambuti with about Smiles to Source Yubu payam Tambura County. 3. 1000 armed men to Namutina payam Nagero County. 4. 500 armed men to remain in the base while other more forces will join to go to other places in South Sudan to assist the National Salvation Front (NAS). On 24 April 2020 the struggling forces of the National Salvation Front (NAS) killed two (2) women in Naita area Duma payam 12miles from Tambura County. Also on the same date of 24 April 2020 they caused panic or insecurity within Tambura County where many people ran out from their houses. Last but not least, information on the ground is that the Darfur running business within Yambio, Maridi and Tambura Counties are those supplying the National Salvation Front (NAS) with the information and other things like medicine and food. From the inception of NAS in 2017- 2021 Seleka the islamic group assisted NAS in killing numerous South Sudanese nationalist using Tambura county to travel by vehicles that they ambush for gas and other valuable items to sell for money, Traders suffer the most in the hands of (NAS) as they travel from Tambura county to the central Africa for business purpose.
Milestones
I. We as the youth of Western Equatoria State are ready to defend our Country from those atrocities committed by the struggling forces of the National Salvation Front (NAS).
II. We are asking the National Government, IGAD Countries, African Union (AU). UN Security panel and The Sentry under George Cloony to stand with the Youth of West Equatoria State to defend the Country.
III. The Government must stand firm and intervene immediately to defend W.E.S territories from the National Salvation Front (NAS).
IV. As for us the youth, we shall not sit and fold our hands seeing our people being killed in cold blood, seeing women being r***d and the population being kidnapped. Our stand is clear, that's to defend and protect our national boundaries from external aggressions in order for us to live in peace and harmony, love one another and to unite our people for the prosperity of our great nation. We have suffered for a very long time and are not ready to succumb to suffering of any form at this time.
v. Comrades in the struggle, this is the voice of the youth, the community, children and women of Western Equatoria State. We have done our part; we need your support for us to defeat these evil plan against the population of western equatoria state by the National Salvation Front (NAS) as we hope for everlasting peace in the country.
VI. Through the Youth of WES (NAS) can be eliminated from those border points of Congo and CAR (Central Africa Republic) where they have established their bases.

What Happened to General Saki James ?
General Saki James Palaoko resigned from the National Salvation Front (NAS) on the First (1) of february 2021 while he was in Uganda, Aru to look for funds to feed his children since NAS struggled to even send him $100. He called his soldiers his children, his forces are around 275-300 in West Equatoria State, Maridi. The resignation letter was short and respectful as he wished his former leadership good luck on their future endeavors.
While he was in Uganda, he began to search for other means to feed his soldiers since the situation on the ground became scarce, his soldiers were neglected by the Leadership of NAS, they often went days without food and whenever he communicated his situation to the leadership of NAS they would often tell him that there are no funds while most of the funds went to Central Equatoria State to aid General John kenyi Luburon and his few forces. General Saki James Palaoko began negotiating with the Governor of Western Equatoria Africano Monday, The Governor then wired him $5,000 to aid himself and his hungry children. General Saki James then proceeds to travel to Congo to mobilize the remaining of his forces in Meri, Congo refugee camp where most NAS members and soldiers are hiding due to fear of the Government of South Sudan. General Saki also wanted to go to Congo and retrieve his family and his new born son.
When he arrived in the Democratic republic of Congo DRC, he was set up by NAS member who portrayed themselves as loyalist to him, He was immediately Arrested in Aba and the Leadership of the National Salvation Front (NAS) lobbied that he ( General Saki James) be handed over to them but congolese authorities refused and later because he is a registered refugee in Meri and his recent resignation letter supported his case so they had no choice but to release him since he was no longer a rebel. The Authorities in Congo demanded USS1,200 for his release and he didn't have that money since the money he had was seized by the Congolese authorities. So Youth from WES in the Diaspora contributed the money and gave it to the Congolese authorities. He was released on february 09, 2021. The leadership of NAS keeping taps on him after hearing of his release notified General John Kenyi Luburon in Central Equatoria state, With direct orders from General Thomas Cirrilo the chairman of NAS, General John Kenyi Luburon was ordered to send his military intelligence to assassinate General Saki James by firing squad as seen on the images below after his body was dumped near a river for family members to retrieve.

Major General Kenneth Wongo a Moru Youth leader who was killed in Central Equatoria State after he was told they were going to Ambush Mundari cattie herders but was later shot dead by orders of General John Kenyi Luburon due to fear that he was a loyal servant of General James Saki. The leadership of NAS later blamed his death on Mundari cattle keepers but a soldier within the camp of General kenyi notified General James Saki of the conspiracy against Western Equatorian Youth.
