Leftover KFC put to good use with some fresh zucchini from my garden. My oldest teenager 🫣 had a hard time believing it was leftovers. Our take out nights need to stretch more now though. Inflation is still kicking my fridge where it hurts. Thank goodness for family meal deals. 😍🥳 #foodie #homecookingmeetstakeout #allmyreelsareoriginal #summer
Smoked pork country style ribs and St. Louis style ribs were delicious this afternoon. Had a little fun using my spring water sounds in this video. It’s a bit weird though. Lol 😂 #food #pork #smokedmeat #sauce 😋
A little tuna for breakfast today. 😋☀️😎😘 #foodie #tuba #reels #tuna #crackers #snacks #smalleats
Got some of the garden ready yesterday. Had to stop before the other half was planted because thunder showed up. It started raining a bit but didn’t really downpour until today. Still need to prep the corn bed, but this year I wanted to try out some of the weed barrier everyone has been claiming works to keep weeding down to a minimum. We shall see. I didn’t order enough so more is on the way. 😁 I’ll try to update as things move along but I love growing our own vegetables and fruits to add to my cooking all Summer. 🥳😋🥒🍅
Smoothies have become a constant in my life since 2021. I’ve mixed and matched all sorts of things but my main personal rules are add frozen fruit of choice, a cold pressed juice combo with lots of good vitamins(I usually avoid the ones with grapefruit and limit ones with orange because of a medication restriction I have with my cancer meds, don’t ask it’s a laundry list of no nos) some type of 100% juice flavor doesn’t matter they all taste the same to me usually one of the kid drinks I have on hand, any fresh fruit I have one hand(this time was a banana) some of an avocado(if I have a fresh one in the house) and a sparkling flavored water of some kind. I try not to specify brands too often in my videos, because most of my recipes are not brand sensitive. Some are and I call those ones out by brand if I feel I need to. This one I blended it twice because I used some of those fresh blackberries we picked last Summer from the freezer and those seeds can chip a tooth(or it can feel like it). Usually blending once for 30-60 seconds works well though. They’re always yummy though. 🥳😋🔥 I’m shocked I could load a 1 min 23 sec reel here whoop whoop! If you can’t see the full length let me know in the comments please. Thanks 😘
Yummy fish tacos…partially homemade…🤣 They’re a hit in my home every time I make them. Make the fish as crispy or soft as you desire. 🥳😋🔥Oh and I swear my nails have a 2 day limit for any sort of fake nails or polish. 🙄😎 Fyi the shrimp looked done at 13 minutes but when trying a new product it’s best to follow the instructions on the box as closely as possible. Next time I’ll go with my own timer..psst it’s my nose. 🤣
Cranberry lemon scones…I have to say trying to say all the ingredients in less than a minute is tough. 🤣 I did it again though. 🥰 These are so good. I do prefer them made with margarine more, but substitutions are my forte. 👌🏻🫶🏻 Like and follow for more…slower version of this should be up on YouTube tomorrow. No promises though life has been busy lately. 🥵
Garlic bread wings..no sauce needed but also delicious with any dipping sauce. Happy Sunday! 🥳🏈
Thin stuffed pancakes for dinner tonight or brinner as we say in our home. So I thought I’d share how I make these. They’re Crepe-like but not really the same flavor or texture as an authentic crepe so I just call them my thin pancakes. I’ve also added some lemon zest and fresh vanilla bean to my cream cheese filling, mandarin orange zest to my cottage cheese and vanilla bean to my pancake mix. 😘🥳😋
Nacho bake that I made for lunch today. You can put all the extra toppings on after it’s finished baking but I like to let each person who is eating add what they like the most. This is very customizable. Follow for more. Special shout out to the people who used to make something similar to this for me when I was a kid. Thanks for the inspo…You know who you are. 😘🥳😋
Dinner tonight part 2…Chicken tenders and honey mustard dipping sauce…😋 Thanks for watching. Like and follow to see more of what I cook for my family…With the current egg prices and shortage I would like to suggest to everyone to reach out to a farm in your local area and buy direct. Or if your city allows, buy some hens for your back yard and a cute hen house for them. 🥰😂
Dinner tonight part 1…idk why everyone cares if I use a cutting board or not. Less dishes for me to wash is always a win. 🤷🏻♀️🤪 This salad is big enough for 2-3 people. 😋🍴
Smashed Avocado on toasted sourdough bread for breakfast..A fried egg with a crispy edge and bite sized bacon on top. This is one of my favorites. 😋🍴🙌🏻🥹🥰
Soft serve ice cream at home..I’m super excited to try some more recipes for Sherbert(how we say it), frozen custard etc as well as some premade mixes. Like and follow for more…🍦
Shrimp boil for a late afternoon lunch today. Chicken broth with tomato bullion cubes, granulated garlic, creole seasoning, Old Bay, lemon pepper salt and pepper and a bunch of water is what I have everything boiling in on med heat until the potatoes are fork tender. Also pst I added a little diet ginger ale because it sounded right also. 😍😋🥳🔥
Happy New Year! 🥳🥰🙌🏻 This onion dip is one of my favorites to make and serve for New Year’s Eve, for a game day or to take to a potluck. It is so delicious and easy to make. I was out of balsamic vinegar so I substituted with a balsamic glaze topping and a little bit of water. I usually also add butter when adding the vinegar but I was out of that too so I substituted extra virgin olive oil. 🥳😋🙌🏻
Coconut bon bons coated in milk chocolate…I’m only making a small batch this year to save time for other treats. This is my busiest time of year at home. So much to do so little time. They make a great homemade gift. 😋😍 #candy #homemade #yum #foodie #pecans Voiceovers and I have a love hate relationship can you tell?!? 🤣🥳
Yellow cupcakes with vanilla frosting made my favorite way. I let my children choose which type of cake they want for their Birthdays by placing an order with me or I place one for them from other local bakeries. These were requested by my oldest Son for his birthday this year. So I thought I’d make a reel and share how I make them. This recipe works well if you want a standard 9x13 cake size as well, but cupcakes were easier to transport and serve for his party. 🥳 #cupcakes #sweets #birthday #frosting #homebaker #reels
Green bean casserole my way. For the seasoning to the wet mix I add soy sauce, granulated garlic and onion, garlic salt and salt and pepper. I use 1.5 cans of cream of mushroom soup with half of a can of 2% milk and heavy cream mixed together. I prefer to put the crispy fried onions on top of this casserole(we don’t like soft crispy onions on the inside) at the end of the cook time. 365 degrees covered for 20 minutes then uncover stir then add crispy fried onions to the top and continue to bake uncovered for an additional 20-25 minutes until the top is brown and crispy. This recipe works great even if not put into the fridge overnight, just trying to save time tomorrow. Side note I got a new phone and the camera and recording features have me a bit turned around so if you can see those differences in this reel trust me I see it too. Not a professional photographer here but my phone does work better now for uploading so yeah! Happy Thanksgiving America! 😘🙌🏻🥳🦃 Or as my family says, “Gobble, Gobble.” #Thanksgiving2022 #family #happy #love
Today’s smoothie recipe was frozen a blueberry and marionberry blend, raspberry sorbet, lemon grass paste, basil paste, minced ginger, passion fruit juice blend with apple, pear, grape and mango, sparkling raspberry açaí water and some ice….a little more sparkling water at the end with a giant milkshake straw..mmm it was delicious…Like and follow for more…😋🥰🥳 ps I left the blender sounds in so you guys can see how this lovely handles all the ice I want like a champ…✌🏻
