It's National Guacamole Day! 🥑 (This might be our favorite "holiday" yet!)

To celebrate, we've looked through our favorite cookbooks to find one of our most beloved guacamole recipes ever! This one comes from At Ease: A Salute to Creative Entertaining:

4 medium or large avocados, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
2 medium or large tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
4 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 medium garlic clove, minced
1 to 2 teaspoons salt, or to taste
1 fresh jalapeño, chopped

Combine the avocados, tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, salt, and jalapeño in a serving bowl and mix gently. Cover with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to prevent discoloration. Refrigerate for 1 hour. 🥑😍

It's National Garlic Day! This might be one of our favorite holidays. We LOVE garlic at SWPH! The more fresh garlic, the better! 🧄🧄🧄

Here's a pro tip, from our customer service manager Sherry May: Separate the garlic cloves, trim the tops and bottoms and then once lengthwise, and then put the garlic into a small closed container. Shake vigorously for a few seconds, and when you open the container, your garlic peels will come off! No more peeling! 🎉

We're in love with this recipe! 😍

Chocolate + dates + almond butter + sea salt? It's the the perfect dessert for Valentine's Day. Even better? It's no-bake! (And it's semi-healthy too.)

❤️ No-Bake Chocolate Walnut Bars ❤️

1 cup packed pitted dates
1 1/4 cups unsalted natural almond butter
1 1/2 cups unsalted walnut pieces
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1/4 teaspoon flaked sea salt

Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, greased toil, or waxed paper. Combine the dates and 1 cup of the almond butter in a food processor. Process for 1 minute or until the mixture is sticky and crumbly. Scrape down the bowl of the food processor. Add 1 cup of the walnuts, vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Process until soft and crumbly.

Add the remaining walnuts and pulse a few times or until the walnuts are chopped and incorporated. Spoon into the prepared pan and press evenly.

Combine the chocolate chips and microwave remaining almond butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl. Microwave until the chocolate chips are melted, stirring every 20 seconds. Stir until smooth. Spoon onto the date mixture and spread evenly with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle with the sea salt and additional walnut pieces. Chill until firm. Cut into 2-inch squares.

Cut down on the clutter by writing out to-do lists, sticking to your schedule, and putting strict limits on your screen time. Alford and Hillis say, "When you are intentional about cutting down the clutter, you will not only feel calmer, you will rebound from setbacks from quickly. You will have a sharp focus so you can think more creatively."
