As a business owner, did you know that having social media etiquette is important when using social media platforms?

Unfortunately, I have spoken to several business owners both realtors and non-realtors who had no clue about social media etiquette. I also see many mistakes that are made in content and copywriting that can actually create clients to not follow you or even unfollow you.

❤️Today, October 26th National Day of the Deployed (and every day), let's take a moment to honor, remember, and recognize the service members deployed around the world protecting our freedom. This day is to also recognize their families for their continued strength and support as they hold down the fort back home.

🤍Today, I want to honor my Husband/Airmen/Captain ️Ben for his service to our country. Here is just one of my favorite homecoming memories from a recent return from deployment overseas.

When my clients ask me what content they should be posting as a realtor, I always recommend these 6 content ideas. Yes, there are many more ideas, but these are what see the most feedback when building your brand on social media platforms.

I understand, that by the time you’ve written your property descriptions, uploaded the information into your MLS, sent out your email blasts, created feature sheets, and all of the other tasks associated with being a realtor, you’ve run out of time or even brain power when it comes to generating social media content for your platforms. Social Media for realtors is a powerful tool and more important than ever!

Realtors who thrive on utilizing social media tools receive more leads and close on more deals. Having the ability to highlight your realtor's success, post current listings, and more on your platforms is beneficial in connecting with potential new clients and staying connected with reoccurring clients.

Interesting numbers, I have found online:

🧐Only 77% of realtors use social media
🧐82% of realtors admit that they need to improve their social media presence
🧐44% of realtors receive a new client from posting on their social media platforms

Another quick thought -- a majority of first-time home buyers are millennials who use social media to conduct a home search.

We are all customers of businesses. When you go to look up information about a company that you may have not heard of, where is the first place you may look? Google+? Facebook? Instagram?

𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦, 𝘐 𝘨𝘰 𝘵𝘰 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘮.

If I notice a business on Facebook or Instagram with great up-to-date content, positive reviews from clients, and engagement with their clients regularly, that to me, lets me know that the business values their work and clients. Because of such a great Facebook or Instagram presence, that business will more than likely see me buy something or use their services.
