MADAWASKA - At a recent Madawaska snowmobile club meeting, new directors were elected for next the season.
Reelected MSC President Mark Guerrette thanked outgoing Directors Gerald St. Jarre and Ken Theriault for their continued years of service to the club.
Guerrette also welcomed new Directors David Morneault and Mike McNulty.
The new slate of officers and directors are
President: Mark Guerrette
Vice President: Corey Morin
Treasurer: Mike Michaud
Secretary: Jean Ouellette
Membership Chair: Denise Duperre.
Directors include Trail Master: Rick Pelletier, Peter Cyr, Glenn Daigle, Dean Hebert, Bob Dugal, Mike Guerrette, Mike McNulty and David Morneault.

A little safety tip for all you sled heads who ride "The County". When you see a sign like this one in Madawaska remember the AK #, It is a ITS junction coordinate number. As you can see in the picture. Each location has the latitude and longitude. They are located at different intersections throughout the county. If you have an emergency. These numbers can be your savior. The warden service can put them into their GPS and help make a rescue faster. Something to think about.!
