You don’t know me. You don’t know my story. You don’t know my strengths. You don’t my weaknesses. You don’t know what I’ve been through to get here. You don’t know where I am. And all that’s true for everyone. That’s why I love this podcast. I see interesting people with amazing stories and I ask them to share. Not all of themselves, but what they’re willing to. Because in the more you know about someone, the more likely you are to know someone. We’re all connected at some point. Some close enough to touch everyday. Some as distant as fading stars. But the more stars that fill your sky, the more connected you feel to the universe.
I’m born and raised in Kalihi. I love the struggle. I love being the underdog. I love fighting for the little guy. I love having friends of every race, creed, color and sexual orientation. Who they are is what interests me. Not what they show the world. I’m a father. A son. A brother. I’m in love. With my wife. With my imperfect life. With waking up to a world of chances everyday. That’s all I need. I think deep. I’m a goof ball. I love comedy but only get casted as the bad guy, menacing figure or imposing force. I can be misunderstood at times.
So now you know some about me. Hopefully I can continue to share more about not just myself but the people all around us. So we all can find a common connection. Even if it’s just me. So I invite you to walk with me. With every word. Every post. Every . Mahalo for always listening.

It’s crazy how long the gates have been closed. How long the water’s been still. How long the music’s been quiet. Searching for normalcy for me starts here. On the other side of the gates of the happiest place on earth. I’m hoping the next time we return, crowds are spilling through the turnstiles. Shops are blinking with electric life and buzzing with the noise of avid fans, filing through their favorite bits of merchandise. But until then, I’ll continue to dream.
