All I can say is “dude”. I’ve always heard that a good codriver can’t win you the rally, but a bad codriver can lose you one. After helping me prep the car, pack the trailer, recce for the first time, and drive my first ever 90 stage miles, I think proves that saying wrong. I could not have done any of this without him. Once we got into a groove, it felt like I could see through the tall crests and the thick dust clouds we experienced on stage. He kept me out of penalties and out of the berms.
A huge thank you to for trusting me with his L2 Ford Fiesta ST. After the tragedies we all have felt this year, we did not want to add more. Nick was a huge advocate in my and Stefan’s safety at all times. He gave me the opportunity to do a proper rally in a proper car with a proper cage. For my first rally:
1st in L2WD, 14th over all, 105 mph top speed, an over all 2wd stage win, and a hell of a lot of fun and memories.
Thank you to everyone who helped me to get here, all of the volunteers who make the rally happen, and the media who lets it be seen!

Last night was a challenge. The crew received word that the Mitsubishi EVO IX had lost its fourth gear. The shards from the shattered gear were thrown around the gearbox, mixing among the rest, making it difficult to move the car at all, let alone at race speeds. Fearful the damage would only worsen, the car was pulled from the rally and limped back to the TRF shop, where work began. The and crews worked together through the night to remove as much debris as possible and get the transmission back in the car in hopes of making the second day of The operation was a success! The evo will see the second round of stages with one less gear, but with a very proud team to support them.
