RISE AND SHINE, it’s cause it’s been our time!

HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH, KINGS AND QUEENS! 🖤🍋

We interviewed Hip Hop Violinist Windy Indie from the West Side of Chicago who taught herself how to play by listening to songs on the radio on her way to school. She’s played for Juice WRLD’s tribute at the United Center, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, Lupe Fiasco, and opened for Carl Thomas. The story about her late instructor being her biggest influence brought me to tears.
