I believe in logical magic.
In order to understand the logical nature of magic, we have to start first by defining logic. According to Merriam-Webster online dictionary, logic is defined as: a science that deals with the principles and criteria of validity of inference and demonstration: the science of the formal principles of reasoning.
Basically, logic is a pattern of understanding based on duplicable experiences that give us predictable information that allows us to infer an outcome. In other words, logic is simply our ability to predict the future based on past repeated patterns.
For example, it is logical to assume, based on our daily experiences so far on this planet, that the sun will rise every morning, one plus one equals two, plants need water to grow, spring is a good time to plant seeds and fall is the time to harvest our crops.
All of these understandings are logical deductions based on our observation of patterns. We humans are programmed to look for patterns. It's part of the archetype of humanity and it's the whole theme of the Logical Circuit in Human Design or what I call the Pattern Circuit in Quantum Human Design.
Mastery in any field comes from repeated practice and the creation of a predictable pattern of excellence. We have to have logic in order to be masters and to predict the future. Without patterns, it's hard to know what to expect and what comes next. Our survival depends on logic.
Sometimes we get confused about what we think logic is. Many of us think that logic is a linear path from Point A to Point B that has rigid and defined parameters. In other words, if we understand the "how" and the "probability" of something, then it is logical.
In Human Design, the Logical Circuit is all about the exploring patterns and, ultimately, using our understanding of patterns to organize and lead ourselves into the fulfillment of the needs of the future.
Many of us are conditioned to lose our belief in magic at an early age. We are taught that if we don’t have all the details of how we make a dream or an idea manifest, that the dream itself is not “logical”.
We learn that If we don't know "how" something is going to happen and it seems outside of the "probable" parameters, then it's most likely, not going to happen to or for us. How many times have you given up creating something you truly desired because you didn't know "how" it was going to come into your reality?
