Sheree Seretse, Director of Zambuko African-American Marimba Ensemble has directed the group for 25 years. The group has performed throughout the NW and has the honor of performing in Costa Rica at the original Marcus Garvey cultural center. The eight-member ensemble performs traditional and contemporary music of Africa with a strong focus on music of Zimbabwe. Zambuko is only group of African descent in the US.

BUILD Black Wealth Podcast S2 Ep 3: Central District Panthers Youth Football Association

CD Panthers is an non-profit organization that has been providing Football and Cheerleading activities to youth for the last 26 years. We are all volunteers from the coaches to board members. We have over 150 children each year for our tackle and 60 - 80 for our 7v7 and 5v5 which we are now in our 3rd year of providing. I have been with the organization for the last 20 years in different board positions as well as the head coach for cheer. For the last 5 years I have been the Vice President while still coaching Cheer.

Someone just sent this video to me and I’m glad they did… it started loooooong something 🤣 please bare with me on this lengthy post 🙏🏾
I’m very grateful and fortunate that I don’t look like what I’m going through. Since 2013 I’ve discovered much strength and purpose beyond my wildest dreams. I have cheer leaders and fans that stretch from earth up to the heavens and I feel all of that energy 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Many with kidney disease and dialysis treatments 3 days a week or Lukemia or that has had a successful transplant be nullified by a Swedish Hospital, Seattle Dr. 🤦🏾‍♂️
2 months out by switching meds sending me into a VICTORIOUS 2 year kidney rejection and virus fight( long story but that’s not why we’re here) have unbearable days and often need a day of recovery between treatments to get ready for it all over again.
Thank you Rev. Harriett G Walden and Cleven Ticeson for helping my strength stand up!
Made in mighty Gods image, one more time for the people in the back… I AM made in his image so it’s INHERENT and AUTOMATIC that I win just like my Father God… “I’ve already won” so when I get a day that I don’t feel crappy, you may see me out with a camera or two doing what I love to do ❤️🎥
I will get up and going for those that can’t! Turning a I WIN into a WE WIN
I’m sooooo super blessed! So If I get the energy for a day despite a little uncomfortableness, and everything else, I feel I owe it to those in similar battles that may not be able to stick and move.
Blessed as such, I’m currently at dialysis and God willing in 3 short hours I will be a middle school with a few of my Emmy Award winning cameras and letting some of our youth have a little fun learning something new while having a glimpse into my world and Triumphs💪🏾🏆💪🏾
