Kemond Jones of Vicksburg, Mississippi was found guilty of murder after shooting a bigger, older white adult who had allegedly bullied him & slapped him first according to his testimony.

Jones was 15 at the time of the incident standing 5’4 and weighing 90 lbs when 18 yr old Ethan Powell, 5’8 & 183 lbs drove to his location & allegedly slapped Jones & reached for his gun.

Kemond began to shoot Powell several times, killing him.

His sentencing will be in March & he could face a life sentence.

Today, February 8th, 2022 Oklahoma City Oklahoma will Go to the polls to decide to keep their

current mayor, David Holt. Or select a brand new mayor to run Oklahoma City.

Holt is up against Carol Hefner, Jimmy Lawson, and Frank
Urbanic.

Holt has held the seat of OKC mayor since 2018 but will he hold on to that seat with

With a Facebook post by Jacoby Blass criticizing Carol Hefner's choice of words towards a visit to Oklahoma from former president Barack Obama, where she stated “This happened-Love

It”, with a picture of a news clipping of Oklahomans greeting the former president with confederate flags.

Urbanic has been very vocal about his plans to divert Juvenile offenders from adult courts like many of the previous courts have done but Lawson does not think that is

enough to tame the mass incarceration problem Oklahoma is so widely known for.

Another topic that was not discussed by any mayoral candidates was if Oklahoma will
follow that many other states whose mayors are making ``Juneteenth” national holiday.

Jimmy Did explain why he chose to run for Oklahoma City Mayor during an interview before his debate at Douglas county high school this past week.

“This is my first time running for Mayor”, Jimmy explained.

“Watching Julius Jones allowed me to see stuff I have never seen before such as Equal access to procedures, the Appeal process.

I know that Oklahoma city historically has some communities of people that have no voice.

2019 is when I began to think I should run, inspired by my father before he passed away.
We gotta be the change” Jimmy explained.

“On my website, you can hear stances on a variety of subjects if you are still trying to decide who to vote for,” Jimmy adds.

Mr. Lawson closed the interview by saying, “God has shaped and molded me into the leader for this position. Previous jobs that I thought would be my long term career did not work out

because I was being shaped and molded to lead Oklahoma as Oklahoma City’s Mayor one day, ``Today is the day”.

No one will know who will win the Okc Mayor candidates seat today but whoever keeps or steals the seat has a long list of tasks to oversee once the office has been taken.

The Oklahoma City-County Jail has been a hot topic of discussion. Covid relief money distributed to the community has also been a topic discussed by communities in OKC.

Whoever comes out the top contender of today's voting polls will have to answer all of those hard questions Oklahomans have for the next 4 years.

The U.S. House of Representatives formally attached a ma*****na banking reform amendment to a large-scale bill dealing with innovation and manufacturing, marking the most recent development in the push to protect financial institutions that work with state-legal cannabis businesses.

Ma*****na Moment first reported that the amendment from sponsor Rep. Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) was preliminarily approved on Wednesday on a voice vote as part of an 'en bloc group' with other amendments, but a roll call was requested. The chamber then took that package back up on Thursday and passed it in a 262-168 vote.

“There was no floor debate about the cannabis provision itself, demonstrating how relatively noncontroversial the bipartisan-supported reform is in the House,” noted Ma*****na Moment's Kyle Jaeger. “The Senate, as observers of the issue know, is a different story.” Yes, we do.

What’s Next?

Advocates will need to wait and see whether the America COMPETES Act, with the now-attached Secure and Fair Enforcement (SAFE) Banking Act, will actually pass in the House on Friday when a final vote is expected.

Ma*****na legalization proponents have been pushing for the SAFE Banking Act to be passed into law for several years.

Though legislative hurdles have arisen in the past, it appears as though there may be momentum for meaningful change. The hope is that bicameral negotiations do not remove the desired language from the currently proposed legislation, ultimately setting the stage for its enactment. As of today no arrests have been made in the hate crime and attempted lynching of a black FedX worker in Brookhaven Mississippi on Jan 24th 2022.

Lest as the QUESTION is because the lead detective investigator on the case and assistant chief of police are related to Brandon chase??

Is it BECAUSE THE BROOKHAVEN POLICE gave him a week to try and destroy evidence and hide the gun after PRESSURE FROM THE Brookhaven community and the Brookhaven NAACP TO step down as a conflict of interest being related to the suspect???

Now answer my question did he was related to the racist pos Monday why he didn’t remove himself from the case immediately??

I’m assuming they thought this would be swept under rug but the devil is a lie we are going to get justice!!

Two Republican Oklahoma lawmakers recently filed bills meant to promote research into the therapeutic potential of psilocybin, and one of the measures would further decriminalize low-level possession of the psychedelic.

Reps. Daniel Pae (R) and Logan Phillips (R) introduced the legislation last week. The proposals are designed to give the legislature different options with similar scientific study objectives, but a key difference is that Pae’s would also decriminalize possession of up to one and a half ounces of psilocybin by making it punishable by a fine.
