Film Tip: In 20 plus years in Film plus entertainment before that I've discovered, esp. in an election year that as Nov and Dec approaches, people's mind are very chaotic and hard to concentrate, so take a break and have fun as much as possible with Family, networking, going out to eat and attending/having parties, (but stay sober to keep alert and wise) with Entertainment People. One good way to do this is just organize a good holiday get -together either at your home or a nice bar and grill, where people pay their own way. Give out gifts and door prizes and little token party trophies for fun awards ... like Hardest Worker ...Best Humor ...Best Pray-er, etc. Be sure and have lots of prayer support and safety measures in place for the event and guests. This great Tip is from Christian Women Filmmakers Association..Happy last few months of the year!

This is why, even though I'm spiritual, not religious - I pray for protection on Film Projects:
1st day of Film Shoot went amazing
but(!) we forgot to alert Police of Location Change for a fight scene. 5 Sirens/cars, 10 cops.. Lol. To us it looked obvious it was a film shoot, but to neighbors with kids, not so much. So it could have turned ugly fast. Thank you Lord, one of the Actors had been a security guard so they told everyone to put fake guns on ground and hold up hands in surrender. Once they did, they showed Police the script and called it into Police office so they knew what was happening. Crazy things happen on a Film Project...always...that's why lists, good common sense and lots of people to help in each department is important - we forgot one thing and it could have been a disaster...but the Lord covered it - b/c of prayer.

She recently toured with the Harlem Globetrotters playing their Grandma on the skits.
