This is exactly why more people aren’t coming forward in droves to express complaints and problems in the school district. People will call you a liar, a racist, a transphobic, and worse. SRVUSD NEEDS an anonymous complaint system so people can have their voices heard safely.

#424 Rachel the journalist who wrote the piece on Michelle Petersen and Jesse vanZee is now claiming copyright violations with my original episode because I literally read a few sentences from her article and made comment on them, an exceedingly common and accepted practice. But, unfortunately, that’s not all she has been doing to me. This is NOT helping anyone, and I hope whatever is going on with her gets resolved.

I can’t be more worried for the young women on the stunt team that are now receiving the full weight of the reactionary, insane populous that are not interested at all in finding facts but instead are hell bent on sacrificing our youth to virtue signal. I wish there was more I could do.

Because of the limitations of the Board of Education meetings and the complexity of her concerns, her comments are greatly under appreciated. Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville and other schools in SRVUSD have some students reading George. Many parents were unaware of the book and its content and have been appalled when they learned about what was in it. Marianne Gutierrez was one of those parents. She very courageously agreed to not only read the book and detail what she felt was wrong with it, but also come on and speak with me about it. We play actual clips from the book, and when I put the warning in the title, I wasn't joking. This book is recommended for 8-12 year olds, but has no place in a sixth grader's hands. I do not recommend listening to this in front of young people.

An anonymous SRVHS parent reached out because the parent's student was assigned a pornographic novel, Gender Queer, for credit in English class. The student refused the assignment and was penalized. The student in question was actually 14 years old. This type of content CANNOT be part of a public school education.
