As an Event Host & DJ, James has brought energy, passion, and expertise to 22 incredible weddings and events. With a background in live events and managing a Fred Astaire ballroom location, he knows how to keep the dance floor packed and create unforgettable moments. 💃đŸ•ș

Gratitude is such a super important activity to practice. But sometimes even I forget to demonstrate it.

Seriously. Thank you to everyone that got to be a part of 2023 and who will share in the year 2024 as well. Successful weddings require everyone to come together to make a couple' day their own. Successful weddings are a team sport. I'm thankful for the couple's who've shared their day with me. I'm thankful for the wedding pros that helped make their day a Highlight. I'm thankful that my wife is super awesome. And I'm thankful that I'm where I am supposed to be, doing what I love to do. 2024 is going to be awesome. But 2023 was pretty stellar in its own right.

Here's to the next chapter in all of our lives!

It's been a few weeks since I got to be a part of a couple's day, so I've had time to just breathe and generally contemplate. One of the things that stands out to me about how I get to be a part of a couple's day is that it is a constant reminder that I am married to an amazing woman, the love of my life, Rhoda Weck

I do my best to make sure she knows this is how I feel about her, and she does the same for me. Having the right person in your life who loves you fully and purposely demonstrates it regularly has such a tremendous impact on both the individual and the couple that it's hard to quantify it but the effect ripples throughout your life.

It's felt by the people you come in contact with. Sharing love is hard to do when you don't have it, but when it's freely given and you receive it, it's hard NOT to share it with others.

Feeling loved also helps you feel like you have so much more potential than you would feel on your own without it. It's that spark that doesn't go out. It only grows stronger the more it's given.

Feeling and giving love creates a huge feedback loop where it will just keep on growing. The more you supply, the more it grows but exponentially so.

I just want to wish all the couple's I've gotten to be a part of their day, I've yet to create the perfect vibe, and all of the amazing wedding pros I get to partner with to make that happen....
I sincerely pray that you are able to find the kind of love that lifts you to heights you've never imagined, and you're able to provide that love for your special someone.

Love may not be everything in life, but I think having it and giving it makes everything in life better. Here's to finding that love, cherishing it, cultivating it, and growing it. Here's to all the love you could possibly ever need :)

Meet Hannah & Baylor! Their story has always had golf as part of it. It's one of their favorite things to do! Well, Baylor appropriately asked Hannah to marry him on a green at one of their home courses, ensuring that two of her best friends were there to witness it!
In case you were wondering, it is ALWAYS a good idea to have someone capture the proposal (but make sure her nails are done 😉)
They were between Colorado and Florida. Florida won out. Thats why their story will continue at The Henderson. Can't wait to help
