State police in Troop G are warning the public of multiple vehicle break-ins occurring at Adirondack trailheads in the Lake George and Washington County areas.

Between 11am-4pm today, multiple hikers had their vehicles broken into in these areas. Purses, credit cards, and other valuables were taken.

Please do not leave valuables in sight when leaving a vehicle unattended. If at all possible bring valuable items with you.

State police are actively investigating these incidents. If you have any information, please call SP Queensbury at 518-583-7000.

GOVERNOR EXPANDS COVID-19 VACCINE ELIGIBILITY
Earlier today, Governor Cuomo announced he was expanding the state's Phased Distribution Plan of the COVID-19 Vaccine to include those age 30 + beginning tomorrow (March 30th) and to those 16 + (vaccine dependent) on April 6th! Expanding the eligibility is the key factor in helping our Washington County, NY Public Health Department to reach their goal of vaccinating every resident who wants to be vaccinated!

WASHINGTON COUNTY VACCINE REGISTRY UPDATED
Our Vaccine Interest Registry form has been updated to include the "Age Eligible" category, inclusive of all eligible ages! Every week when we release registration information on our Public Health vaccine efforts, registration links are released to those registered on our Vaccine Interest Registry first, if you haven't registered as of register here: washingtoncountyny.gov/vaccineregistry
