GE XLPs volunteer trip to Puerto Rico

This past July, I had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico with GE to document their participation in recovery efforts after . I feel lucky to have had the chance to work with such a great group of people. Check out this video to learn more about their efforts.

from . One of the walls of this school was torn off during . Because of this, the indoor court was exposed to the elements and wildlife. General Electric GE worked with JJ Barea Foundation to clean and repair the facility which included power washing the seats, replacing the basketball nets, and removing bird excrement from the court.

Working with General Electric GE and the groups Fundacion Pediatric and THE FACILITATORS: Camp Ironhorse. Fundacion Pediatrico is helping Centro Médico Central in to recover from the and damages, while Camp Ironhorse is helping to rehabilitate an elderly couple’s house that was severely damaged during the hurricanes.
