*ATTENTION*
*Restriction on Dhar Road for HMVs with more than 10 tyres*
HMVs with only 06 and 10 tyres shall be allowed to ply through Dhar road.

*TRAFFIC PLAN & ADVISORY FOR 15-03-2022*
Tomorrow on 15-03-2022, subject to fair weather and better road conditions *LMVs(Passenger)/private Cars* shall be allowed *from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar NHW* viz *Jammu towards Srinagar and vice-versa* . *TCU Jammu/Srinagar shall liaise with TCU Ramban* before releasing the traffic.

*CUT OFF TIMING:*
*LMVs/private Cars from Nagrota (Jammu) at 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs,*
*from Jakheni (Udhampur) at 0 700 hrs to 1300 hrs* &
*from Navyug Tunnel (Qazigund side) 0600 hrs to 1200 hrs* (subject to change depending on the road position then)
*No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timings.*

*HMVs/Load Carriers*
Subject to fair weather and better road conditions, HMVs shall be allowed from Jakhani (Udhampur) towards Srinagar after assessing the traffic situation on NHW. TCU Udhampur shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the HMVs.

*SFs Convoy Movement*
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. *They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar* after confirming the status of NHW.

*MUGHAL ROAD/SSG ROAD/KISHTWAR-SINTHAN ROAD*
Mughal Road, Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri Road and Kishtwar-Sinthan Road closed for vehicular movement by the Administration in view of snow accumulation .

*ADVISORY*
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-

*Absconder arrested at Kalakote Rajouri*

Rajouri, Feb 12

Continuing its action against absconders, the police in Rajouri district nabbed an absconder who was wanted in a case registered fifteen years ago.

Police said that a team from Kalakote police station headed by SHO Deepak Pathania intercepted an absconder and arrested him.

The accused have been identified as Rekha Devi wife of Parlhad Singh resident of Bhatera Kalakote who was wanted in case 32/2006 under sections 353, 332, 148 RPC but was evading arrest.

Hon'ble court had also issue an arrest warrant against her in 2014.

INCIDENT REPORT : CLOUDBURST AT GEN A KAFARNAR BAIHK OF 32 RR ON 12 SEP 2021

1. Due to incessant rains on the intervening ni of 11 / 12 Sep 21 an incident of cloud burst occurred at higher reaches of Kafarnar Baihk causing flash floods in Gen A Kafarnar Baihk. The said incident occured at Kandi Belt of Rafiabad at around 0430 hrs on 12 Sep 2021 as per inputs recd from local populace.

2. In the incident four persons among six of a bakkarwal family from Rajouri were killed, one was found alive and one person is still missing who too is believed to buried under the debris.

3. Indls found dead have been iden as Arif Hussain (5), Tariq Ahemd Khari (8), Nazia Akhtar (14), Shahnaza Begam (30). The missing person is Haji Basir Ahmd.

4. Rescue team ex Duniwar Army Camp led by Capt Saurav alongwith police pers ex Dangiwacha Police Station are searching for missing person who is feared to be buried under the debris.

5. Col BS Khandare, Commanding officer 32 RR, Capt Saurav Kumar Duniwar Coy Commander are are in the area to render humanitarian asst.

6. Stretchers, ropes, digging eqpt have been provided by the rescue teams.First Aid was provided to the injured .

*BSF trooper found dead under mysterious conditions in Rajouri*

Jammu, Aug 31 (GNS): A BSF soldier was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district, officials said on Tuesday.

They said the BSF constable, Rakesh Kumar son of Lt Sh Satpal of Pathankote, at present 69 Battalion, was found dead at Sunderbani at about 0930 hours under mysterious circumstances while on duty.

"An inquest has been initiated to ascertain the cause of death," they said.

The body has been shifted to SDH Sunderbani for postmortem. A police officer confirmed to GNS that body has been found in "mysterious" circumstances and that inquest proceedings have been launched into the incident. (GNS)

Blind Murder case of Chakli Rajouri solved by SIT constituted by SSP Rajouri.

Public at large Appreciated efforts & dedication of SSP Rajouri for solving blind murder in 72 hrs.

An FIR No. 538/2021 u/s 302/458 IPC was registered at PS Rajouri based on the information that during the night, some unknown persons entered the house of one Bachan Lal, S/o Karam Chand, R/o Chakli and attacked his son, Ankit Bakshi, with sharp edged weapons, who died as a result of the injuries sustained on the spot. Based on this, FIR No. 538/2021 u/s 302/458 IPC had been registered at PS Rajouri and investigation has been started. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by DySP Hq, Rajouri has been constituted for speedy investigation of the case on merits, whereas based on investigation by the SIT under the direct supervision of Addl SP Hq Rajouri, Vivek Shekhar, technical data was examined and witnesses were also examined.
Later on based on leads development the following suspects were identified and arrested namely, (1) Rajan Sharma, s/o Vijay Kumar, R/o Chingus; (2) accused no. 2, name withheld under age is verified, R/o Sangpur; (3) Priya Bakshi, D/o Bachan Lal, r/o Chakli.
Moreover based on sustained questioning, it came to light that the accused no. 1 and 3 were in a relationship, to which the deceased had objected repeatedly and often forcefully. Due to this, a criminal conspiracy was hatched by the above mentioned to eliminate the deceased, who put the plan into action in the intervening night of August 10/11. Further investigation of case is in progress.
Public at large appreciated SSP Rajouri Sheena Nabi Qasba IPS for timely action and solving the murder within 72 hrs . Police has also claimed that such type if anti social elements who tried to distrupt the peace and harmony if area will not be spared at any cost and they further assured that such elements will be dealt with iron hand. As no one is above law. Moreover by acting swiftly police has solved a no of gruesome murder case in past few months in time bound manner which shows the police is working with great dedication, professionalism and ethically by using latest technology also. The people of Rajouri highly acknowledged and appreciated the working of District Police Rajouri under the supervision of SSP Rajouri Sheema Nabi Qasba . They appealed before Hon'ble LG to applaud the role of such young and dynamic IPS officer.

The festive day begins by offering Eid prayer at the mosque, this time at home. The Islamic prayer, known as salat, comprises of two units of prayer known as rakats along with six incarnations. The Eid prayer is followed by the sermon after which Muslims ask for Allah's forgiveness, mercy, peace, and blessings for all living beings across the world. Usually, the prayer is performed in an assembly but this time, family members might offer it in unison or individually. This is done by raising the hands to the ears while saying 'Allahu Akbar' which means God is the greatest.```

*30 more covid-19 deaths in J&K, toll 2877*

Srinagar, May 12 (GNS): Jammu Kashmir reported at least thirty more covid-19 deaths so far since last evening, taking the fatality count to 2877.

Official sources told GNS that 21 of these fatalities were reported at GMC Jammu and nine at various hospitals of Kashmir Valley.

Among others the victims from Valley include 50-year-old woman from Dooru, a 60-year-old woman from Kokernag , a 44-year-old woman from Anantnag , a 40-year-old woman from Bakshi Abad Anantnag, all of them died at GMC Anantnag.

They said a 39-year-old from Dobra Leh died at SKIMS Soura, nearly three weeks after his admission to the tertiary care hospital.

A 65-year-old woman from Newa Pulwama, they said, died at District Hospital Pulwama.
A 75-year-old woman from Kanipora Chattergam succumbed to the virus at SKIMS Bemina, two days after she was admitted there.

A 70-year-old man from Larsun Ganderbal died at SKIMS Soura, nine days after he was admitted there.

A 70-year-old woman from Frihsal Pulwama died at JLNM hospital Raniwari, they added. (GNS)
