Former Coach Bill Leedy of Stanford & Lincoln County High Schools has passed away at 96 years old. Coach Leedy coached Stanford High its final 8 seasons (1966-73) and then led Lincoln County in its first 5 seasons (1974-78). Leedy was a true pioneer for Stanford/Lincoln County High Schools and in 2011 The Patriots field at Death Valley was named in his honor. I want to extend my condolences to the Leedy family as they deal with a loss right before the holidays. Patriot Nation lost a Pioneer of Patriot Football. Continued Prayers 🙏🏻💔😇

KFCA & Justin Haddix presented Boyle County Rebels Football ATH & Kentucky Football commit Montavin Quisenberry with this years Mr Football trophy 🏆 at a ceremony today at Boyle County High School Official. Quisenberry had an amazing career and put up some eye popping numbers, but here’s one of the craziest stats that you may not have heard yet….. in 43 games at Boyle Quisenberry played 4Qtrs in ONLY 8 of 43 games and still managed to put up 8,000 yards and 127 TDS is a little hard to wrap your mind around , but if you have watched him play there are many things he does that are hard to wrap your mind around. Special Player with a historic career. 🏆🏈💛🖤💙

One of top rated QBs in the portal QB Malik Murphy is in Lexington to talk to Kentucky Football. Murphy isn’t the dual threat that many wanna see, but he has elite arm talent that made him a sought after player coming out of HS. Initially he went to Texas, but Ewers had a long term hold on that position, so he transferred to Duke. The addition of Murphy might add some confidence in the QBs on the roster, even this would be his 3rd Team. Just 3 years ago, a third team would be a big story, but now seems to be “business as usual”. The game of CFB has changed drastically over the last 3 years and schools are still struggling to get ahold of the ever changing landscape of CFB.

Kentucky Football Vince Marrow talking about what sealed the deal and made them a believer of what Boyle County Rebels Football playmaker Montavin Quisenberry can do at the next level. Kudos to Justin Haddix for going and finding the toughest game he could to replace the cancelled Danville game. That decision and the performance against them gave Kentucky the confidence to turn up the heat on Quisenberry’s recruitment. Level of competition matters and it matters a lot when you are talking about Division 1/ SEC type programs. Marrow said in a separate interview that his performance in Ohio and the show he put on at camp where the two most important determining factors in whether to really pursue Montavin. When asked by reporters what excited him the most about UK, Quisenberry said “They are going to give me the opportunity to show what I can do and I will be up to the challenge” Let’s Go 5!! Slowed down Replay of Controversial Touchback call last night. Again I think it’s clear his knee was down well before the ball came out. There was about two minutes left if Boyle went on to score, it would’ve made it 35-31 Boyle lead and Covington Catholic ball. Their ball with a chance to go win it. I would’ve much rather seen that. Instead a bad call dictates the result instead of both teams with opportunity to win on last drive. Both teams gave EVERYTHING they had and it should’ve been left up to them to decide it.
