Akela’s Radio Promotion Department in the US has been responsible for the success in the US Hispanic Market of Top Latin Artists like Maná, Ricardo Arjona, Jesse & Joy, Sie7e, Alejandro Sanz, Carlos Vives, Grupo Treo, Santaye, Fonseca, Carlos Baute, Tito ‘El Bambino’, Babyboy, María José, Tommy Torres, Alexander Acha, Laura Pausini y Yahir, among many others. In Cub Scout packs, Akela is a symbol of wisdom, authority, and leadership. Akela is anyone who acts as a leader to the Scout. Akela can be a Cubmaster, Den Leader, parent or teacher depending on where the guidance takes place. In den meetings, it is the Den Leader who is Akela. During pack meetings it is the Cubmaster. At home, the parents fill this role. Sir Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scouting movement, chose Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book as a source of symbolism and allegorical framework for the youngest members of the Scouting movement. Many references are made to this story in the Cub Scout section, including the "Council Rock" for discussions and planning, and the "Grand Howl" to express a sense of belonging and team spirit. Akela is still reserved for a leader of a Cub Scout, but is not universally in use (i.e., other character names can be held by the leader, usually to avoid confusion when there is a change of leadership). Rudyard Kipling obtained the name "Akela" from Hindi, meaning "alone." Akela, the great gray Lone Wolf, who led all the Pack by strength and cunning, lay out at full length on his rock, and below him sat forty or more wolves of every size and color

#Repost @jbalvin ・・・ So I want to share something with you that I’ve been working on. I met @jbalvin in a gym in New York last year. It was just me and him very early in the morning. I recognised his voice when he was on the phone so I just went up and said hi. We chatted so long we ended up having lunch and then afternoon tea. Then just went to being mates who chatted non stop. I was in New York at Christmas for shows so we decided to have one day in the studio that led to so so much more, which you’ll find out about soon. But the first two songs we wrote are Sigue and Forever My Love, they are out soon, and I absolutely love them. He wanted to bring me into his world, and I wanted to bring him into mine. Was a proper challenge learning Spanish for this and I had so much fun doing it. Hope you guys love it as much as I do, and look out for more to come. Love xx ———————— Todo lo bueno toma tiempo. Hace 6 meses estaba en el gym y dije: este man es parecido a Ed Sheeran @teddysphotos, pues así fue, era él. Nos tomamos un café, hablamos de la vida y quedamos con una chimba vibra, creamos una amistad genuina hablando desde lo más simple hasta sobre cómo ser padre jeje. En Nueva York quedamos de vernos un día en el studio y bueno ya después verán lo que hicimos jejeje, pero las primeras dos canciones que montamos "Sigue" y "Forever my love" ya salen pronto. Yo quería que estuviera en un tema en el mundo del Reggaetón y él me invitó a su mundo, fue brutal escucharlo en español y esperamos que disfruten esto tanto como nosotros. Mucho amor y paz en la tierra.
