You must leave the Matrix to see clearly. You must leave Babylon to become unmuddled.

Though Shelley and I as a podcast rarely come out and say it, it bears reminding:

We truly live in a world where the supernatural thrives but is hidden from all those unwilling to see it.
It is a brilliant plan by the forces of darkness to cover their tracks. But, for those of us who truly are seeking Truth — His name is Jesus — our job is simple.

We are called to awaken from our stupor, let the scales fall from our eyes, proselytize humanity for the King of Kings, and counsel them in the counsel His Holy Spirit leads us in.

WAKE UP!

The Bible is a clap-back 👏

Is it a holy book, as well? OF COURSE! But let’s not forget the importance of the way its content is structured.

It was common knowledge and understanding in the near Eastern context that there were many gods. That is no different in the Israeli case. However, there is a difference about what the Israelites believed about the gods: Although there are many gods, only one is worthy of worship: YHWY. See, YHWH is the source of all other deities. This makes these other deities finite and non-sources of creation.
With that in mind, it is important to that we understand the following verse within that context:

21:1 “The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.”

Now, a little context around the heart in the Egyptian case:

In the Egyptian belief system — one that the Israelites were certainly especially familiar with — The following was the understanding of the heart in the afterlife:

The "Feather of Truth" is associated with the goddess Ma'at, who personified truth, balance, order, harmony, and justice. Ma'at was a fundamental concept in ancient Egyptian religion and ethics, representing the cosmic order and balance that the gods maintained in the universe.
During the judgment of the dead in the afterlife, the heart of the deceased was weighed against the Feather of Ma'at. This judgment took place in the Hall of Ma'at in the underworld, where the god Anubis would weigh the heart on a scale against the Feather of Truth. If the heart was found to be lighter or equal in weight to the feather, it meant that the deceased had lived a just and moral life. In this case, they would be deemed worthy to enter the afterlife and be welcomed by Osiris, the god of the underworld.
However, if the heart was heavier than the feather, it symbolized that the deceased had lived a life filled with sin and wrongdoing. In this scenario, the heart would be devoured by Ammit, a fearsome creature with the head of a crocodile, the front part of a lion, and the hind part of a hippopotamus. This would result in the soul of the deceased being condemned to oblivion, rather than being allowed to continue into the afterlife.
The concept of the Feather of Truth and the judgment of the heart played a significant role in ancient Egyptian religious beliefs, emphasizing the importance of living a just and ethical life in order to achieve a positive outcome in the afterlife.

See, Solomon was saying that his heart is in the hands of YHWH, and no other god’s hands. He knew that in this, and the next, life that he could rest in peace because YHWH was faithful to watch over his heart and would judge him accordingly. He tells us exactly where his heart is. And clearly, based on the end of the verse, we can see that this is the case:

…He turneth it whithersoever He will.”

Christ is King

Absolutely.

But also, what does that mean?

That means that everything is under His kingship. EVERYTHING.

Therefore, when you read the Bible, talk to God, serve Him, etc. you should always be asking yourself, “How does this serve Christ’s Kingdom?”

Relationship — Relationship is important to God because it fulfills the purpose of His Kingdom. His kingdom is one of peace, but we can’t have that peace without “love”— the thing, not-so-coincidentally, that God actually is.

It is His great joy to have a relationship with us because it makes us not only “Sons and Daughters of God,” but also heirs to the throne and servants of His Kingdom. The act of this relationship fulfills His decrees and, simultaneously, our purpose.

So, you should not only see yourself as a family member. But also, and quite literally, completing the function you serve in His kingdom.

How did the Nephilim Giants Return After the Flood?

This whole week we are tackling the potential ways the nephilim (giants) returned to the earth after they were wiped out by the flood— one theory per day. There are many opinions, so we’ll explore several. Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments!

What do YOU think?

3 Another theory is that the Nephlilim reappeared because before the flood, the Watchers exchanged their technology with man for their women — a dowry, if you will, and a way to produce offspring. This is elaborated upon in the book of Enoch — an apocryphal text widely read and referenced even in Jesus’s time, and even quoted directly in the book of Jude. After the Nephilim were washed away by the flood, it is possible that gene-altering angelic tech could have been found to restart this genetic abomination capability.

Pros:
- This better seems to account for the change in stature with giants after the flood.
- It is possible that this tech was left behind since we know that the Watchers descended and exchanged technology for women.

Cons:

- It seems a bit strange that the implication is that technology was used after the flood when the reference for the angels “taking wives” clearly seems to indicate a consummation of sexual union.

How did the Nephilim Giants Return After the Flood?

Tuesday:

2 The giants reappeared due to nephilim genes already on the Ark:

Another theory is that the Nephlilim reappeared because, although Noah was perfect in his genetic make-up, one of his daughter-in-law’s genes were not. In this theory, it is usually mentioned that Ham’s wife was the one that carried the Nephilim genes onto to the Ark and into the new post-diluvian world. Therefore, the new tribes of Nephilim continued on. However, because the genes were not directly Watchers/Humans, they became more and more diluted by human DNA as time progressed.

Pros:
- We can see how the genes never really left. So, the explanation of how they returned is quite easy to understand.
- It explains the nature of hybridization today, as well.

Cons:

- This theory seems to take a jab at God’s omniscience: “He can wipe out all the Nephilim except one woman on the Ark who just happened to get on?”
- It also seems unlikely because God knows His creation immaculately. Thus, He would easily be able to spot an abomination that He had not created.

Monday:

1 There was a post-flood incursion:

Additional mutinous heavenly beings decided to come again for earthly women by which, once again, they would have their offspring: the nephilim. All this in spite of seeing their brothers bound in chains deep inside the earth as a punishment for their actions.

Pros:
- It explains very clearly how they came back.
- There’s precedent for this action, so it is a logical conclusion.
- It explains the nature of hybridization today, as well.

Cons:

- It would seem to suggest that God was incapable of dealing with such an insurgency by means of the flood.
- The giants after the flood seem much smaller according to Biblical vs Enochian (book of Enoch) account. Why would this be?

People get really hung up on The Watchers not possibly being able to procreate with human women. They always cite Matthew 22:30:

"For in the resurrection they (humans) neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven."

But they leave out a key element- "of God in heaven."

When angelic beings are not in their "first estate" (literally from the Greek - "arche peri", which means "A high rank locality") they "gain" certain abilities that would be unavailable to them in the heavenly realm. In this case: Procreation.

“In the spirit world blood is a currency.”

I was watching a podcast with the story of a Satanist who recently became a Christian. Of course, many Christians are very critical and ask, “Why the obsession with blood (through ritualistic unaliving/T0rtVre)?” The statement you see at the beginning was his answer.

What do YOU think?
