In an attempt to get him to do a genuine smile, I said, “Hey bud, think of something funny.”
This was the result.
I die.

"It ceases to be about comparison, and what's simply about grief. Not getting the thing. The thing you've hoped for, the thing you've wanted... It just gets to hurt."

It just gets to hurt. There's so much wisdom in that little phrase. Too often we get stuck in a cycle of comparing each other's grief. Rob and Courtney remind us that we don't need to compare each other's stories and pain. Every one of our stories, and the pain we feel due to the trials we face in this life, is valid.
Sure love these two. They are such wonderful people who have been through so much together. Their story is about learning to live with pain and heartache, while holding joy in the same hand. Something I have learned from them, and what you'll see in this video, is that grief and gratitude often go together. How many times have we felt beyond grateful for what we have, but have still felt hurt and disappointed that things haven't turned out the way we wanted? Courtney was the one to remind me when I had a c section with my first baby, that I could feel grateful and sad at the same time. Sad that his birth didn't go the way I had imagined, but so thankful we were both healthy, safe and that I was a mom.
This video shows how they've learned to give themselves grace when they feel their grief resurface, and how that doesn't take away from their gratitude.
Stay tuned for the next part of their story, where they walk us through Courtney's diagnosis and fight with breast cancer. Their perspective on life is deeply inspiring.

Portraits of little ones are the besssst 🥺♥️ There’s something so captivating and heart melty about seeing their sweet face up close and personal.

I’m looking to get more practice with portraits/photography in general... Let me know if you’d be interested in setting something up!

I had the pleasure of taking this darling little family’s pictures the other day ♥️ These 3 sisters are soooo excited to have a baby brother. I mean seriously, just look at those faces 🥲

Recently I have been feeling the pull to branch out into photography to help make my little venture over here a bit more marketable. I’ve been asked several times if I offer photos in addition to videos, and felt like it was time to start that process.

I’m so happy with how these turned out!

Gosh this little duo is too cuuuuute!!! I can’t deal. I’m just stockpiling footage for a future wedding video. It’s fine.

Hello!👋🏼 I thought I should post a photo to show whose behind the camera filming all these videos! I plan to post an “about me” highlight bubble soon that goes a little more into depth, but I want to say thank you for being here! I LOVE what I do so much. Creating videos has been a passion of mine for a long time. While filming and editing, I often tear up because being behind the scenes for some of the most special events of people’s lives and creating a video that will be watched throughout the years and passed on to future generations is so special and something I cherish! Can’t wait to meet you! ♥️

Video of my own sweeties ♥️ They just melt me. I'm so honored to be their mom! But oh my goodness.... The amount of times Bennett pushed Porter over during this 🙄😆 I included bloopers because it's only fair to ensure that social media sees that behind every cute video, is a lot of failed attempts to get all those cute shots 😂 I was laughing so hard watching this back! My cheeks hurt from smiling, and my heart has melted into a puddle on the floor! I'm telling you, videos of your kids are the absolute greatest! Also listen for Brad at the end throwing his hands in the air proclaiming, "I'm going home" after the one millionth time we got the boys all set up, only to have them roll around in the dirt like a couple of animals 😂😂

Family video for these beautiful people! I love this little family so much. It was so fun to film them together and capture sweet moments of their kids that I know will be watched back through the years with smiles (and possibly tears 🥺😉). Videos have a way of capturing emotions, facial expressions, and little details of your family that nothing else can! It is a priceless momento for the future. Contact me and let's get a time set up for YOUR family!!! I can absolutely promise you will NOT regret it!

It was such an honor to film this video for this sweet couple. After a long journey with infertility, they are looking to become parents to a very lucky little baby through adoption. They are so genuine and kind. There was definitely a special spirit in their home. And their dog Tahoe stole my heart! 🥰

If you know of anyone looking to put a precious little baby up for adoption, keep this couple in mind ♥️

“There was an idea to bring together a group of remarkable people, to see if we could become something more..”
One little Avenger didn’t quite get the memo to keep running past the camera....🤣
And for added entertainment, make sure to watch the bloopers at the end!
This was such a fun day. Our older little boy absolutely LOVES the Avengers. It’s a true obsession. His amazingly talented aunt made every part of his Thor costume from the Ragnarok movie! Isn’t it incredible? Every detail is exactly what you see Thor wearing in the movie. He picked who the rest of us would be and he was beside himself with excitement when he saw all of us dressed up.
** I shared this on my personal page in my stories, but I had to put it in a permanent spot in my feed on here! It’s just too good 😂

Sneak peak! This fall wedding decor was soo dreamy 😍😍

Happy Saturday! Figured I’d brighten up your feed with this video I made for Tracy over at 🤤😍
All of her creations with food are true works of art. It was so cool to see the process from start to finish, and watch as she assembled and reassembled, making sure each piece and garnish was in the perfect place. Oh you guys, I love fruit so much. I was even able to eat some of this when we were done shooting and my day was MADE!
Another video of one of her platters coming soon! Stay tuned 🥰

A mother’s love 💕

Ever since I became a mom, I’ve always said that the love you feel for your babies is a love you can’t describe. The only thing that I have found that, in my opinion, perfectly encapsulates that love, is a book by Nancy Tillman: “Wherever You Are... My Love Will Find You” ♥️
It is so beautiful and brings tears to my eyes each time I read it to my boys. That, and “On the Night You Were Born” by the same author are must reads!
“You are my angel, my darling, my star…
and my love will find you, wherever you are....” ♥️♥️♥️

Diving into the long weekend like.... 🙌🏼
I love this wild boy of mine! His little “cheese” at the end kills me 😍 This construction site right by our house is his dreamland. So much dirt and so many tractors. I think it’d be a blast to own a big piece of land one day and fill it with lots of dirt and dirt piles. So basically a glorified sandbox 😂
Wishing you all a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!
What are your plans??

Happy *almost* fall y’all! Cue allllll the cozy fall vibes 🍂🍁
Where are my Bath and Body Works fans at?? I get giddy when the season begins to change and I go pick out yummy smelling candles and soaps. It’s a simple luxury, but oh man, it makes my heart SO happy!
I truly love every season, which is a huge reason I absolutely love living in Utah, but starting now and through the new year, are my favorite months out of the year. I just love each of the holidays and the togetherness it brings.
What’s your favorite season??

Side note: When Brad came downstairs and saw this set up, he said, “You look like you’re worshipping the God of fall.” 😂😂

**This video was just for fun. It’s not sponsored. Candle is from Bath & Body Works and decor is from Hobby Lobby 😘

“I have a baby!” 😭♥️
I’ll never forget these words coming from this new mom, and sweet friend of mine, when she first met her baby boy. It was so emotional and precious beyond words.
Oh goodness, is there anything more beautiful than a mama seeing and holding her child for the first time?
It’s the most indescribable feeling. A love that words fail to express. I am so honored that I could be in the room that day! Heaven was so close.
This was the first time this mom and dad had been reunited after a number of weeks. He had been gone for a few months, opening an office for work out of state, and they had only seen each other periodically. She went into labor early that morning, and he caught a flight to Utah as fast as he could. While she is laboring, you can see him on FaceTime waiting for his flight. She started pushing within an hour of him walking into the room!
I am so excited to film more birth stories!
Also, I used a different song, with lyrics, for the original video. This is an edited version. I don’t want to infringe on any copyright laws, so I am posting this version with a song I have the rights to. The original has more footage of the baby as well, but he is not always convered. In light of everything going on right now, I wanted to be respectful with what I share of him. If you are interested, shoot me a message and I can send you the original 😊

Just over 5 years ago, Brad and I went on a humanitarian trip to Fiji. We spent two weeks there, splitting our time between two remote villages. The experiences we had and the friendships that were cultivated, changed our lives. I’ll never forget snapping this picture of this sweet girl. This was the window to her home. The steel, rugged bars were what separated the safety of her home from the outside. There was no warm water, their floors were made of dirt, they hand washed every piece of clothing (including ours while we were there), they’d wait for all of us to eat first during every meal- eating only what was leftover, and most did not own a pair of shoes.... yet, they were the happiest, most giving and welcoming people I’ve ever encountered. I remember coming home from this trip, walking into our small basement apartment, and feeling guilty. I couldn’t believe the everyday luxuries I had taken for granted before. Whenever I need a big slice of humble pie, I think back to these two weeks and reminisce on when all the comforts I enjoy daily were taken away, and in place of that were newfound friendships that I treasure, and a perspective on life that altered my heart and soul forever ♥️

PS... This was also one of the first times I had ever tried my hand at true videography and made a video! I want to post it with the original song that I used, but I’m worried about copyright issues... Can anyone help a sister out with this?? 🤣

Fun little video for ! I always love seeing behind the scenes of people’s businesses. I think it’s easy to just look at the product and forget how much goes into it. There are real people working so hard to give us an amazing product (and in this case, cookie) behind it all! Seeing how much of just one ingredient was needed to make all of these cookies was mind blowing. They were so fun to hang out with for the afternoon! They’ve named their equipment after each Destiny Child member (ex Beyoncé Bowls) 🤣 and use Starbucks iced coffee bottles to push down the dough, making a unique shaped cookie, and a perfect place for a dollop of frosting! Seriously. Starbucks bottles. Freaking genius. 🤩 They’ll be opening their own place a little down the road and they’ll soon start shipping!!! Woo hoo!

CALLING ALL PARENTS!!! I have some fun ideas for videos for your kids- interviews, filming them in their element doing what they love, etc. A keepsake for your family! Tag some fellow moms and dads, and DM me! Let’s get something set up! You’ll get an awesome video and multiple photos with it! You won’t regret it!!!
Oh my cute little Avenger, just doing some avenging 👊🏼💥 This was happening as I was fiddling around with my new camera, and I thought I should go ahead and start filming! After all, I had the best subject- Captain America himself 😉
Isn’t it amazing the way children believe in themselves? There’s no limit to who or what they can be. I wish that confidence stayed with us more as we transition into adulthood.
If you’ve been following my family for a while you might remember this story, but when we were touring a potential preschool a while back, he was wearing his mask around and one of the teachers said, “What’s your name?” He replied, “Captain America.” She chuckled and said, “But what’s your REAL name?” And without a beat he responded with “Steve Rogers.” 😂😂

What or who did you want to be when you were little??

I remember watching Aladdin and wanting to be Jasmine, and really believing that one day I could BE her! There was also a time I wanted to be Orlando Bloom’s wife, but you know, you win some you lose some 😉
