A High Wind Warning is in effect from tomorrow afternoon through the morning hours Wednesday for wind gust up to 70 MPH possible. When these winds are combined with the dry air we have a high fire danger, therefore a Red Flag Warning has been issued for the same areas for tomorrow late morning through the evening. Rain moving in Tuesday night will help the fire risk.

Showers and thunderstorms will push into the region early Wednesday morning. While the severe storm risk is low we will see strong wind gust even outside of thunderstorms. Winds could gust up to 70 MPH in the mountains where a High Wind Watch is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning, winds could gust up to 55 MPH in the valley.
