One thing we need to be aware of is the fact that this group is getting so much coverage because the bodies of white moms and white women are perceived as having more value than the lives of black women, children, and men. While it's important and valuable that these women are helping the movement, we can't lose sight of the underlying racism that makes their involvement so impactful.
