The Company Store in Butcher Holler, KY where the workers from the mine could shop. The store actually has three levels with the main floor being groceries and sundries, the top floor was larger furniture items and the basement was filled with items akin to a feedstore. There is an embankment you drove down on the left of the store to back up to the loading dock and there was even an old elevator to help you get the furniture from the top level.

You could use your script at the company store (where things were sold at a higher price) OR cash it in for "real" money you could spend in another town. The catch? They deducted 20% for this courtesy. And we think PayPal does us wrong when they charge us!
