At the end of 2020, Now Written Christian Books was started "to bless pastors." That shortly became the purpose statement, and it will continue to guide the decisions on how this company is run. I'm sure that many of you would also like to be a blessing to the men of God who preach the Word of God. Once upon a time, there was a pastor who loved to share truths he had learned from God's Word. He had learned some really good lessons in life - both from experience and research (becoming the self-taught expert on one such topic). Having shared these life lessons in his sermons, counseling sessions, and casual conversations, countless people had told him that he had really helped them understand that specific biblical truth. Wanting to help more people, he decided to write a book about that topic. This is how the book began.
"The first day I came across this tr..."
Immediately, the phone rang. He answered, and there went his day. The next day he continued:
"...uth, was when I was in the army, twenty years ago. My sergeant saw me sitting on a stump reading a letter from a friend. He asked me..."
Knock, knock, knock. He sat up straight, said "Come in," and there went the rest of his week.
Three years later he has finally finished the rough draft of his book, but there is still much work that needs to be done before it can be distributed to people. All the while, his other pastor friends hired out the writing, editing, formatting, and publishing of their already made sermon content to a likeminded believer at Now Written Christian Books (NWCB). One pastor has given a copy of his book to every visitor that walks in the door of his church, another has used his book to help encourage other pastors to lead their churches, another pastor sells his at conferences that he speaks at, and all of them wouldn't have had the time to get their content in a book form without NWCB.

Tired of Christian organizations having vague statements of faiths so they can receive support from a wider range of people? Not here at NWCB! Read the official NWCB statement of faith below. Every book ever published through NWCB will be in accordance with this statement, so you know what to expect every time we come out with a new book.

· The Bible (all 66 books from Genesis to Revelation) is the true, inerrant Word of God.
· The Bible has been preserved to every generation as promised through the copying and spreading of His Word throughout the world.
· There is only one God.
· God created the universe and every kind of creature in six literal, 24-hour days, according to the Genesis record approximately 6,000 years ago.
· God is a Trinity consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
· Jesus is God the Son.
· Jesus lived a perfect life doing miracles while on earth.
· Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day to provide salvation.
· Salvation is completely based on the finished work of Christ and not by any of our good works or our turning from sin. In other words, neither doing good actions nor stopping bad actions can save or help save anyone.
· Repentance is a change of mind. Repentance in the context of salvation occurs when someone believes the gospel: they changed their mind about sin and salvation. They realize that their sin is an abomination to God and that they are justly condemned for it. They also realize that justification from their sin is completely unmerited by their works, but wholly merited by Christ's shed blood on the cross and His resurrection from the grave.
· Once someone trusts Christ’s finished work to save them, they are indwelled with the Holy Spirit and cannot lose Him.
· By believing in Christ, one becomes born again, and his salvation is eternally secure.
· God gave free will to everyone and offers salvation to all.
· There are distinct dispensations throughout history (and the future) in which God deals with mankind in different ways.
· The Church did not replace Israel but is God’s means of work in the current dispensation.
· The Jewish people are God’s chosen people.
· Marriage is between one man and one woman for life.
· God decides a person’s gender.
· Killing any innocent life (including the unborn, young, old, depressed, mentally ill, or injured) is murder and an abomination to God.

Note: NWCB believes that the preserved Word of God is represented by the thousands of manuscripts accepted throughout the church age as the Scriptures – commonly called “The Received Text.” This group of manuscripts which makes up over 90% of all biblical manuscripts is the basis for the King James Version of the Bible, while the majority of the modern English translations come from “The Critical Text" which make up a small minority of the manuscripts. Since the King James Version is unparalleled in accurately translating “The Received Text” into English, that is the translation that will be used in all our books.
