The Milford cross country teams finished as district champion (girls) and runner-up (boys) yesterday to earn spots at the state meet next Friday. Macie Carter and Avery Carter were the individual champions for the girls and boys, respectively. Way to go, Eagles, and good luck at state.

Officially reopen. A ribbon cutting was held today at Southeast Community College in Milford to celebrate the completion of renovations to Nebraska Hall, the campus's oldest building. Following the ceremony, visitors could tour the building, which has been repurposed as a student services center, complete with study rooms, a computer lab and testing center.
