1st rule of thumb whenever you are trying to accomplish your goals. Stop taking advice from someone who hasn't achieved the success that you're trying to achieve.

Lending your ears to the wrong person can have you delayed and denied.

Years ago when I started working on my own credit, when I would mention my goals to other people they would tell me about all the other ways I could get approved for this or that without my credit. Trying to tell me about shortcuts and tricks and hacks that would have led me down a road to destruction and even more financial hardships in the long run.

I'm glad that I didn't listen to them and used my discernment because not only did I repair my own credit but I have now been able to repair hundreds of others credit reports as well.

I notice that I have several new friendly faces on my page so I want to share a little about me and what I do.

I believe in God the father and that he sent his son Jesus to save us. So when I speak of God, that's who I speaking of. I know many times this get twisted so I don't want any misunderstandings over here. I'm a loving wife and mother of four (3 daughters and 1 son).

I absolutely love being a wife and mother.

I hold a Dual Masters in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration and I worked in the corporate sector in Healthcare for nearly 15 years prior to starting my business. I have been an entrepreneur for almost 6 years but full-time for 4 of the 6.

I am founder and owner of Revive Financial Consultants, where we are committed to changing lives through financial literacy and credit repair. In addition, we also assist with business startup, business credit and business funding to help our clients reach their ultimate goals. Can you believe that God is using me to help another business owner create a plan to serve troubled youth and at risk kids in my city?

Who would have thought that this once at risk 14 year old teenage mom would be on the Board of Directors to help serve the kind of kids that I once was.

As I have mentioned before, use your pain for your purpose. The things we go through are not for us or to punish us but to help others.

God has a way of showing us our purpose. 🙌🏽

Stop thinking that you can’t learn anything from younger people bc you can.

This is me going through a selfie 🤳 session with my hair stylist (my daughter) bc she felt that I needed a training session.😂

My point is, if you don’t know how to do something and someone can assist you, show you, or teach you, then allow them too. No matter how young or old.

Remain a lifelong learner and student in life.
