This is a sad announcement that I have to make on behalf of The International ETA Hall of Fame.
When I came to the board a few years ago we changed many things to get more into the legends category and in the King’s Court.
One of the rules were if it was found that someone had committed a felony they wouldn’t get in and if it occurred during their time in the organization they would have to be removed. It doesn’t matter a felony is a felony.
So here I am about to yank a dear friend I have known since his teens. His recent actions has forced me along with my board members to pull his status from The International ETA and the Country Music tribute hall of fames.
His career just got kicked into high gear the past year but he did something very very stupid.
I am not mentioning his name but I know many of you know who I am referring to.
I needed to make this announcement that no matter who these ETAs are or whom they are friends of there is no ifs and or butts about it. You commit a felony, you are no longer here to represent Elvis in good taste and must be removed. It’s the same with our Country Music hall of fame.
So before anyone comes at us for thinking this ok, think again.
It’s all over the internet and now Tik Tok.
I am just so mad that he’d do something this damn stupid. Over 20 damn years!
So as of today this ETA is no longer a part of the International ETA and Country Music halls of fame.

NEWEST MEMBER IN THE COUNTRY TRIBUTE ARTIST HALL OF FAME

Ladies and gentlemen I would like to introduce to you Alvin Anders who does a fantastic Hank Williams Sr.

When Alvin was a boy he recalled falling asleep to an old record his mother had. On one side was "I'm so lonesome I could cry," and on the other side was "H***y tonk blues." He was entranced by the bluesy cry that was "Hank Williams." Alvis was 13 when he learned to play the guitar from an old man that used to play on his porch down the street. Since then he's been playing and singing old country, particularly "Hank Williams Sr.," which always seemed like a hit with a lot of folks. Hank William Sr.'s story was one of success, failure, love and loss. That's why it's so important to Alvin to keep the legend alive, and to give folks the most realistic experience of "Hank Williams Sr." possible!

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen:
The other night I watched a livestream that I thought I was only going to see this gentleman do Conway Twitty. So I wanted to see the live so I wanted him to friend me and he did right away. So I dig into his page and low and behold he also has done an Elvis tribute for many years. Now I had this strange gut feeling so I asked another board member if he knew of him and how long has this guy been doing Elvis.
Ok I knew I had my partner in crimes vote so I asked my buddy Russ what he thought. Thumbs up 👍 Garry Wesley so sick I couldn’t ask but majority rules. So immediately while Doug was doing his livestream I told the fans what I had done. I put him into our King’s Court. Well after the show I asked him through messenger just how many years has he been doing Elvis he said 40 years. Ok halt the presses. He qualifies for our legends category. 30 years plus gets you into that category.

So today I present to you our newest inductee into the International Eta Hall Of Fame - Legends
Mr. Doug Thompson, now mind you this was a gut decision that hit me. I have had this happen only 1 time before and that was my very first inductee Moses Snow when I first became a board member last December. And guess who won the Images Of The King in Memphis Moses Snow.

In Doug’s words:
For 40 years, award winning, tribute artist, Doug Thompson, has travelled the winding roads entertaining audiences from young to old with his tributes to Elvis Presley. He is currently touring throughout the US and Canada. He has been blessed to opened up for several of his country hero's. Doug is also a performer that is seasoned with numerous theater credits. The past ten years Doug or "DT" as his thousands of fans know him, has had residencies in his home of Tennessee. He really enjoys taking his shows on the road to his fans. He recently started doing FB live and he loves sharing his love of Elvis and music with others in their own homes. He is a true artist with great versatility and numerous tributes presented thoughtfully and with great passion.. His tribute Conway Twitty has been endorsed by the legendary country star Ronnie McDowell, who he also shared the stage with. DT was honored to have paid tribute to Waylon Jennings in the Highway Man Rival Tour, that spanned all across Canada. He is currently working on some Hank Jr. and other new tributes. DT's goal is to capture an audience with emotion, the electricity within the words of a song, wrap it up in his energy, and deliver the ultimate gift to those in attendance.

You all I hope all are aware he can’t go home and is pretty devastated.
His wife can’t give him the care he needs and in care can’t give the more or less around the clock he needs.

Hello everyone. I would say good morning but for some it isn’t. I just got off the phone with Larry J. Larcombe Sr., he was very upset and distraught. Yesterday I said he could possibly be home in a couple of weeks. Well that is no longer true, it seems that a medical team has said he can’t because for one the hospital bed equipment won’t fit through his apartment door and it seems that they all come in 1 piece? Like duh says who? This is just an example as to how seniors are treated when there is no one on the higher up level to go to bat for them. However Larry has his son now as POA, and he will be going to bat for him. Between Medicaid and Medicare my theory is that the facility gets more bang for its buck if he stays in rehab. However that is not the only thing going on here. While he lays in a hospital bed, his wife and other son Brett are trying to survive without any income. why? Where is Larry’s social security check? Well let me tell you. Larry gets paid on one of those cards because he has no bank account. Remember the last stimulus check of 1400, someone got ahold of the numbers and stole their money. All of it! So Social Security is dragging their butts to get him a monthly check again along with the stimulus pay. In the meantime no money has been coming in. His son is working hard to get those checks rolling again. 
Larry is devastated. Can’t do a go fund me because he has no bank account. I can’t establish one because I am on a fixed income and can’t be showing ex amount of $$ my account. So if someone out there could possibly do this for him, you don’t know the gratitude he would have. If you can’t do that then how about that sending him what you can to help give his wife a peace of mind to help pay some bills. Anything as far as donations are more than welcome. They just can’t take checks because of no bank account, so Visa cards would be awesome. Cash I don’t recommend sending, mail gets lost and stolen.

Certainly hope everyone is fine. Things have been quite in this group for sometime but hope once Larry gets out of rehab we can get the nominees back in full swing. Remember we are looking for old country Tribute artists. Need more females. Lol
Larry might be home in a couple of weeks. He hasn’t been home since December 4th of last year. Oh the fun we are going to have. Lol

Well I guess I should have kept my mouth shut about Larry J. Larcombe Sr. He was just taken from rehab to the hospital for chest pains. It never flipping fails.

It is with great sadness that I just found out that one of our Eta Hall of Famers passed away on April 3rd. I just got the news today. Our deepest condolences go out to this Legend’s family, friends and fans. Artie Mentz had a life long career
performing and was loved by all.
He will be sadly missed. However now flies high with Elvis.

Artie Mentz, of Dubuque, Iowa, passed away unexpectantly on April 3rd. He was nationally known for his portrayal of Elvis Presley and was a 2003 inductee into the Iowa Rock 'n Roll Music Association Hall of Fame.
He made the cover of USA Magazine in 1987, was ranked one of the Top 10 Elvis Presley impersonators by Rolling Stone magazine in 1988, and was invited a second time to appear on the Oprah Winfrey television program in 1990.
We send our condolences to his family and friends. Rest In Peace Artie.

I just read on Colleen M. Brennan-Larcombe page that she lost her sister to Covid. She has Larry J. Larcombe Sr.in the hospital and now this. What more can their family go through? I feel so bad for her and I just can’t express just how much I feel for her. Larry is suppose to be released and sent back to the rehab center today and that was a plus if it happened.
So please hold Colleen in your hearts and keep the prayers coming for her and her family. I am giving her time to get herself together and not prying for info. She needs her time and peace right now.
