Are you wanting to update your logo for your business?

A good logo should be simple, with solid lines and form. It should illustrate the concept of your business. You need to keep your target audience in mind. If they are older than 35, serifed fonts are easier to read.

Today I sat with a client and as I reviewed his business, I pointed out that his website domain had a different business name on it versus his logoed business on his site, which was super confusing to me.

If it was confusing to me, it would be doubly confusing from a consumer perspective.

I recommended that he purchase a domain that incorporated two critical key words that represented his business (and the correct actual business name) and together we'd fix his site.

He said he allowed his hosting company to pick his domain name.

NEVER pick a domain name that doesn't represent your actual business name and include at the very least, one critical key word that defines your business. If a hosting company tries to steer you away, don't listen.

It took me 2 minutes to find a better domain name for his business.

He asked, "Can we talk about SEO?" Yes, we definitely addressed the SEO, immediately from the start! 😄

Just had a meeting with a couple starting up their first business. It is so exciting getting to create a logo and putting it into design, the service, philosophy, and ethos that makes up what their business is.

I like to draw it with pencils on a sketch pad, and once the design is selected, I put it into Adobe. This is the creative side of the business that I love.

Today I stopped by Eddie's Auto Detailing to ask him a question about how to clean my perforated leather seat that my dog managed to get sick on😭. I was asking when I could schedule it in, as I saw he had vehicles in his bay. Eddie was so kind as to immediately work on it and was so kind and helpful. This is the kind of customer service that needs to be exemplified in Taylor.
