We get a lot of people coming into our space here Downtown, and many of them have the same question: "What is this place??" Let's fill you in!

The Downtown Tyler Visitors Center is an information center and gift shop all in one! The Visitors Center is jointly operated by two entities: The City of Tyler and the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce. While that is what you see, what you may not see is all of the offices here at work. We house six different amazing offices, each doing so much for our community!

🎨 Gallery Main Street is powered by the City of Tyler's Main Street Department and showcases all sorts of local art in our area via the gallery exhibit located inside the Plaza Tower Atrium.
💛 Heart of Tyler, Inc. is the only 501©3 non-profit group completely dedicated to the revitalization of downtown Tyler.
🎭 Liberty Hall is a restored historic theater located in Downtown Tyler. They present live music, comedy, theater and classic films, and offer rentals rentals.
🌃 Main Street is a City of Tyler department dedicated to the revitalization of Downtown Tyler and local businesses.
🏈 SPORTyler is a branch of Visit Tyler that promotes and recruits new and existing sporting events to the Tyler area.
🌹 Visit Tyler Texas is the destination marketing organization and focuses on creating "rosy" experiences all across Tyler. They promote Tyler as a premiere destination for visitors and citizens alike.

Tour Tyler Texas Artwork Tribute:
Did you know that Tyler is officially designated it as a Preserve America city, designated by first lady Michelle Obama in June 2016, making the city will have access to federal grants for preservation.

It is a federal effort to encourage and support community efforts to preserve and enjoy America’s priceless cultural heritage.

Tyler’s efforts includes the half mile of history which is a permanent, outdoor, half-mile loop that surrounds the square in the heart of downtown Tyler, which commemorate important people, places and events on markers around the Tyler.

It also includes the local landmark program and local subject makers as well as the city’s national districts, including the Azalea and Charnwood districts, among others.
