If you’re new here, I’m bekah nice to meet you!
The one woman show that is “Simple Wink”
I started this little side biz on a whim 6 months ago solely based on my love for taking videos everywhere I went, knowledge of how to use a camera/edit from my background in marketing & my side bartending job for a catering company that made me fall in LOVE with working weddings
I basically racked up my Best Buy credit card & nearly emptied my savings investing in a business I was hoping MAYBE to get 5 bookings in my first year for?
Welp, here we are half way through the first year with 22 weddings booked - I.could.cry.
Seriously you guys, THANK YOU!!
BUT that’s not even the news I came here to tell you
From this on a whim decision I’ve realized “hey, this is what I REALLY want to do with my life” (I’m only 25, how was I expected to know what I wanted to be when I grow up???)
Soooo, with the help of the little portfolio I’ve built up these past 6 months, I’ve accepted my first full time position in the FILM industry as a FREAKIN TELEVISION PRODUCER!! 🤩
Honestly, I got the job offer almost a week & a half ago now but went into full panic attack mode for about a week debating if I made the right decision to leave marketing (what my undergrads in & currently pursuing an MBA for) but finally came to terms with: life’s short & just do whatever the hell makes ya happy
Not to sound lame here - but I really couldn’t have done with without you guys & just wanted to say thank you, thank you, thank you!! I can’t wait to learn even more about filming/editing and bring it full circle back to you guys & capturing your big days!!
Life really is crazy & all I’m saying is just take that leap, cause who knows where you’ll be in 6 months?!
Ps. Don’t worry I’ve always had a full time job since starting Simple Wink & she’s not going anywhere!!
Pss. My boss said I can snag one of the drones on weekends to use for wedding filming 😉

Who said you can't plan a fun date & get a cute video made AFTER you're married?!
Believe it or not, this only took 30 minutes to capture ALL these fun shots, due to a last-minute training Josh had for work. So we made it quick & easy for an amazing video of these two love birds!! Thank you guys for being my models!

Why is rain on your wedding day good luck? As you know, a knot that becomes wet is extremely hard to untie - therefore, when you “tie the knot” on a rainy day, your marriage is supposedly just as hard to unravel!! Tokyo, Japan Video Montage - I suggest to ANYONE take a trip to Japan, it was my first out-of-the-country experience and just WOW! All videos shot on iPhone from May 2018.
