We had our last show of the semester on Tuesday! It was so much fun sending the seniors of four of the Harvard groups off: The Harvard Callbacks, The Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones , The Harvard Opportunes, and The Harvard LowKeys. I’ve been working with these groups for a few years now and it’s always so bittersweet watching the seniors leave. Congratulations on an amazing run! I know you’re all going to go on to do amazing things.

Saturday night’s Boston College Dynamics concert was an absolute beast of a show! With 5 senior send-offs, musical numbers for each (including ✨accompaniment✨), a dozen speeches, and TWO alumni songs, it was certainly one of the biggest shows of the year.

If you haven’t heard the name Rob D’Alessandro, you’re missing out. Rob has taken this group to unimaginable heights during his tenure as MD. I’ve never met a college MD who was SO dedicated to pushing the standards of his group. Rob recorded and produced a 14-track album as his final swan song with the group. Rob invested in and implemented in-ear usage for the Dynamics (what college group does that??). Rob rented, designed, and ran lights for all of their concerts. Rob somehow convinced BC Athletics to let them do a halftime show during two football games this year—their performance of God Bless America was aired live on tv!

All of this is to say—congrats to ALL the graduating Dynamics. You’ll be missed deeply. And I hope you all know how supremely lucky you were to have that experience you did. 10/10 college a ca****la group

Absolutely GUSHING over these rock stars! The Nor'easters put on yet ANOTHER fabulous concert tonight. They opened the show with their award-winning BOSS set and ended the show with *six* senior send-offs. Now we’re at the theatre after-hours filming a little something special. 👀

The Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones filmed their 2023 ICCA set this morning at the *beautiful* Harvard ArtLab. What a fun way to spend a Thursday morning!

I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of their entire ICCA journey this year, and I’m so excited to see it through to the finish! Keep an eye and an ear out for this finished product this summer!

A few moments from Friday’s The Chordials concert! This was their 25th anniversary Cocktail Hour—alumni came from all over the country to sing together again. Peep a long-time colleague and friend slaying his solo, James Cannon.

What a show Friday night! If you didn’t know, The Harvard Callbacks and The Harvard-Radcliffe Veritones competed in ICCA this year. I had the pleasure of mixing their competition sets for the THIRD TIME at their spring jam (first at quarterfinals, where they both placed top-two, and again at semifinals). These groups are wicked talented and I’m so thankful to have been a part of their journey.

A little birdie told me there might be some videos coming your way soon, so keep your eyes peeled. 👀

Boston Arts Academy opened Shrek: the Musical last night! I had the pleasure of coming in last minute and mentoring some *amazing* students on mixing live theatre. My A1 touched the board for the first time at final dress and she ran the show last night.

Congrats to the cast and crew for a beautiful show! What a pleasure to be involved.

What an honor to mix this show last night (and tonight). Laura Benanti and her accompanist/duet partner, Todd Almond, have been a dream to work with. Not only are they obviously wicked talented, but they’re incredibly kind.

Day 3, show 3! On Sunday, we drove home to Boston from Ithaca for The Downbeats’ fall concert feat. The Unisons and On the Vox.
