Montana was good to us. Given the abnormal temperatures we didnât see much movement during the day. Didnât see any giant mule deer this trip. We did see a lot of beautiful country though and we are putting three bucks in the freezer. Iâll be back soon for another Montana adventure. What an amazing experience that I will forever be grateful for.

Last year I tried to hunt an elk from a saddle in Montana on public land. I sat all day on a waterhole with no luck. I wanted to be the first to ever catch that on film. From what I've been told, elk have been killed from a saddle setup, but to my knowledge, it's never been filmed.
I really want to see an elk go down on film from a saddle.

Less than a week and I get to go chase spring turkeys again with my little hunting buddy.
