Rachel & Peter had a timeless, winter wedding at Gin Creek. In life, your paths cross with a lot of people, but there are some people you meet that make a lasting impression. That's Elizabeth & Nicholas.

From the first time we met them at we felt an instant connection and we were swapping stories and sharing secrets like we were old friends. And in the time leading up to the wedding day, we got to know them at an even deeper level.

For some couples, the idea of sharing private letters on their wedding day can be nerve-wracking or even kinda awkward. We can't begin to share how honored we feel that Elizabeth & Nicholas were comfortable with us not only being present but also taking part in such an intimate moment. Honestly, there aren't enough words to describe in detail how much we love this couple, but to put it simply, they are wonderful people we have been so lucky to meet in this life.

We're convinced Colby & Allison's wedding day celebrations only paused for their official "I Dos" because THIS COUPLE. They popped confetti while getting ready, they exited their ceremony to raining rose petals, and they PARTIED during their reception!

One of the films we ✨obsess✨ over was a whimsical, spring wedding at Loblolly Rise in Thomasville, Georgia. Michael & Olivia wrote letters to each other and shared personal vows that had us crying, laughing, and shaking our heads in agreement (sassy wife, present ✋🏻). Their wedding day was a perfect representation of them and the joy and love they share with each other—and of course Luke, too. A warm, sunny day, whimsical blooms the dragonflies buzzed around, and the butterfly at about 2:07...totally a paid actor.

This boho fall wedding was, as Lady Gaga best said, "talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before"

From the sweet exchange of hand-written notes, the open asymmetrical flower arch with fall hues & dried pieces, the fun cocktail hour they shared with their friends & family, to the beautiful reception space complete with a floating vine canopy over the dance floor, this wedding had it all. After 11 years together, Liam & Laura's wedding day was absolutely perfect and words honestly can't express all the emotions felt on such a beautiful day.

This beautiful couple celebrated their one year anniversary earlier last month—we can't believe how fast time is going!

Kayla & Kyle split their day between , a historic hotel in downtown Lake City where they got ready, and Southern Pines Venue, a gorgeous property for their ceremony and reception. One of our favorite memories from their day was a conversation we had with the venue owner, telling her how gorgeous the live oak tree was for the ceremony backdrop. She shared with us that Kayla had asked them if the resurrection ferns would be green for her wedding day and the owner said they could spray water on them before the wedding for them to turn green and spring back to life. Although this plan was in the works, Kayla didn't ever have to worry—a cold front came through overnight and the rain made this bride's wishes come true. Rainy wedding days make for some of the sweetest memories ✨

From the first time we spoke with this couple, we knew they would be special and we are so honored that they trusted us with their sweet memories. We're Zac & Jessie and we're the faces behind the cameras here at Buchholz Film & Co!

We've been together for a little over 9 years now and married for 5 years in April next year. We moved to Tallahassee in Spring of 2017 and have two perfect pups, Hazel & Olive, that we love more than life itself! 🐶

We got our videography start when Zac's cousin trusted us to film his wedding at Casa Feliz in Winter Park, Florida (a big thank you to & for making our dreams come true!) We immediately fell in love with videography and the rest is history! Even with our start only a couple years ago, we've filmed 35+ weddings, edited hundreds of hours of footage, and made so many friends we couldn't imagine a better life than this! 🤍

A few fun facts about us:
▫️We LOVE to travel (we've been to 8 different countries with 3 more on our calendar next year)
▫️Our favorite date nights include fondue & a Marvel movie
▫️We're a house divided! (if you couldn't tell from our previous posts, so Thanksgiving weekend football watching gets crazy lol)

Hi guys, I'm Zac! I'm the Videographer & Lead Editor of Buchholz Film & Co!

As a Tallahassee native, I grew up going to FSU football games with my family (Go Noles) and running cross country and track entirely too much. I've even ran two marathons and qualified for Boston both times! From a young age I've always been artistic and techy—unlike Jessie, I had a Sony camera in my hands at 8 and the newest devices every year since. Videography is great since it combines both of my interests into one thing, plus I really just like flying the drone around lol

When I'm not editing or buying the latest gear, you can find me watching anything Star Wars, making movie theatre-style popcorn, or building Jessie's latest DIY project! If you like nerdy memes & custom built PCs, let's hangout!

Hi there, I'm Jessie and I'm the Owner & Lead Videographer of Buchholz Film & Co!

I'm originally from The Spring Break Capital of the World and have one younger sister 😂 Unlike a lot of people in the photography and videography industry, I didn't grow up with a camera in my hand hoping this would be my dream job (not a bad thing, I just didn't get my Nikon Coolpix until I was 13 🤪). Instead, I went to the BEST school in Florida—Go Gators 🐊—and graduated with a BS in Business Administration with a major in Management and a minor in Entrepreneurship. I knew I always wanted my own business and I never envisioned it would be this, but I'm loving every second!

When I'm not filming or editing a wedding, you can find me in my comfy clothes binging Workin' Moms, playing outside with my doggos, or saving yet another home DIY from TikTok to later abandon when I ultimately change my mind! If you don't mind my excessive (millennial) emoji use, let's be friends! 🤍

So excited to finally say WE'RE BACK! 🤩

Over the past 18 months, we’ve had a lot going on. We worked with a wonderful branding & web design team—shout out to —who made all of our dreams come true! They created our new logos and branding that completely fit how our company always looked in our minds! After our branding was set, they started working on our website design and BLEW US AWAY with the results.

Now we wouldn't be lying if we said our site was ready last year for launch. But we knew our branding and website weren't the only things we wanted to work on. After learning so much in our first couple of years in business, we developed an entirely new client experience. We want our couples to have the best time with us; to be comfortable, feel relaxed, and actually enjoy their wedding day! Once again we were completely ready to launch our site, but life has a way of showing you when to slow down.

Zac got Covid right as the new year began, and even though he was fully vaccinated, took it pretty hard. After that, the first half of this year was spent with my sweet grandfather who was diagnosed with Stage 4 cirrhosis of the liver (non-alcoholic fatty liver disease) and had a few visits to the hospital where things just didn't look too optimistic. Although he is too elderly for a transplant, he managed to get stronger and pull through. We're enjoying every extra minute we get with him. Then my sister finished off the summer with the delivery of our VERY FIRST NEPHEW! We are totally in love with him and he has stolen our hearts—and our wallets! lol

SO HERE WE FINALLY ARE! Buchholz Film & Co. is officially official and we are so excited to share everything with you all soon!

This week we'll be celebrating our upcoming website launch by sharing a little bit more about each of us and our little family! We'll also be resharing some of our favorite films and there will be a GIVEAWAY coming soon, so stay tuned for that! Thank you all for your support and for allowing us to do what we love! We can't wait to share what's next!
