BIG NEWS!! 📰

just listed us in their pick for top 10 Wedding Videographers in the Lexington, KY area🎉

- The Knot Best of Weddings 2022
- Wedding Wire Couples Choice Award 2022
- Peerspace Top 10 Lexington Wedding Videographers

I haven’t been on here to introduce myself in awhile! My name is Alec Higdon-Burgess, the Founder of Bluegrass Imaging. I’ve been involved with videography for 10+ years. Just over 2.5 years ago, I dived into filmmaking full-time without a clear path. It was scary. I was investing all of my savings, and time, into the unknown. The only thing I knew at the time was that I was meant to be a story-teller. Since then, I’ve worked with so many couples and have helped them relive the biggest day of their life! I absolutely love what I do, so thank you everyone who has been a part of the journey thus far!🙌🏼

We hope everyone had a great weekend and is staying safe! For our audience who is intrigued by video editing, we have attached the timeline from our favorite project thus far!

For the protection of customers, we have decided to make a temporary change.

1) Of our three core services (videography, photography, and editing), we will only be working with clients that wish to have photos/videos edited with our professional software to encourage social distancing until further notice.

However, we will still be more than happy to discuss and plan future projects with our customers that require an in person shoot!

Even during these times, we still have been reached out by a few individuals that are interested in our service. We will always love the opportunity to help create a visual story/promotion for any intended audience. We hope everyone stays safe, and thank you again for following Bluegrass Imaging!

Meet the founder, Alec!

Alec is an Elizabethtown native, and now is 23 years old. He was very busy in college, graduating with a degree in Sport Management as a Track & Field athlete at the University of Louisville. As a graduate of Central Hardin High School, he is a firm believer in strengthening the local community. During his time in college, he learned to always give back to the community when possible through his fraternity.

Alec's passion growing up was making videos for personal use. After years of gaining skills in his craft, he decided to take film making from a hobby to a business. He learned that 90% of web consumers say that videos help them make a decision in buying a product or service (business2community.com). Now, he teams up with local businesses and individuals in Elizabethtown, and surrounding cities, to help them promote their brand or events.

If you would like to learn more about Bluegrass Imaging, feel free to reach out to see if we can help in any way!
