BIG NEWS! In just a week or so, our film "Catherine's Kindergarten" will be represented by our new representation, California Pictures, at the Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes at the Festival de Cannes! While we are not technically being screened at Cannes, we will have a small screening for interested parties at one of the largest and most prestigious film markets in the world. This is a huge milestone for us, seeing as we were essentially learning how to make a film with KC Films as we went along this journey, and then finished the film just as COVID was hitting. We hope to have more news coming from this in the near future, but for now I just want to thank everyone who supported us and the film over the last few years. It's been a slow process, a difficult process, a crazy process...and the best crash course in filmmaking ever.

Amidst two years of COVID we released our first two documentaries into the world, having produced them during 2018 and 2019, and despite ALL of the challenges and twists and turns of 2020 and 2021, here are two showings we had the absolute pleasure of being a part of: Roxie Theater in San Francisco graciously hosting “Catherine’s Kindergarten”, and Fresh Coast Film Festival showing “Small Footprints in Marquette, Michigan. It’s been a magical 6 weeks, where FINALLY we get to be in the same room as our audience, and it was worth the wait. Here’s to more filmmaking!

Check out this Indie Alaska piece that James is featured in, brought you by Alaska Public Media and PBS Digital Studios. We are so thrilled to have collaborated with John's Home Studio the past year, doing our part visually to bring live music to the good people of Alaska (and beyond) during the pandemic. It's been a beautiful project spearheaded by John, so if you're curious give the video a watch.

INDIE ALASKA is an original video series produced by Alaska Public Media in partnership with PBS Digital Studios.

President Joe Biden formally proclaimed today, May 5, 2021 as Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day, an act that has accompanied a growing movement of federal entities acknowledging and acting on an ongoing crisis across the U.S. We were hired by Victims For Justice to create a short documentary we've called "Looking for Linda", which explores this issue in Alaska specifically, and the broader historical and systematic reasons why it is ongoing and must be addressed.

Full documentary: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jIH7SWpUIQ0&t=2s

Linda Sheldon Skeek went missing in Anchorage on New Year's Day 2016. She has never been found and is presumed to be a homicide victim. Linda is one of an unknown number of missing and murdered Indigenous people (MMIP) in Alaska.
