What a day! Yesterday was an absolute grind, but it was an honor to document 70 lifters throwing down at this year’s Make Your Own Luck powerlifting meet.

Not only did we witness some incredible performances on the platform, but we also got to see do it all—announcing, spotting and loading, and directing the meet like a true powerhouse. If you see her, be sure to show some appreciation for her hard work!

A huge congratulations to all the athletes who stepped up and gave it their all. If you know any of the athletes on the post please shout them out and show them some love!

We just wrapped up the Savage Beginnings Open at in Union City — their very first meet — and I’m honored to have been part of it. I witnessed some incredible lifts today, and so many athletes crushed personal records. It was great reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones as well.

It’s always exciting to see the sport grow and to help welcome new lifters into the world of powerlifting. To help capture these moments, we’ve uploaded all the event photos for review, and ordering is now open online. If you have any questions about the process, don’t hesitate to reach out.

For those who already placed an order, your photos and videos will be delivered no later than Friday this week.

Savage Beginnings Open – This Saturday!

Meet day is almost here! Savage Beginnings Open is going down this Saturday in Union City, and I’m pumped to be back behind the camera for another meet.

What an unforgettable day at the MEGA State Championship! 🏆📸

I had the privilege of capturing so many incredible moments—watching friends and familiar faces crush PRs, fight for every lift, and leave it all on the platform. The energy in the room was unreal, and I was grateful to have been a part of it! S/o to for such an awesome meet!

Session Two of the Heartbreak or Heartbreaker Open was a tight! It was great seeing familiar faces back on the platform and catching up with an old friend from my 24 Hour Fitness days—especially as he shared the stage with his son for his first-ever competition. Moments like these make powerlifting special.

Wrapped up Session 1 of the Heartbreaker Open 2025, and dang, that was fun! So many of the Breakingprs fam crushed PRs, and it was amazing to be there capturing those moments. Can’t wait for Session 2!
