The Beginning
The idea to create a record label dedicated to Ghetto House & Juke Music happened in 2019. The founder, Victor Alvia is also known as DJV, saw no reference to his name or his productions in the bios of Ghetto House or Juke Music around the world. Working with DJ Funk, DJ Rashad, & Chi-Boogie, you would think his name would be at least honorably mentioned, but it wasn’t despite the fact that DJV released several songs on vinyl with DJ Funk and Dance Mania Records. He is a ghost to the scene, even though his hit album Juke-a-Licious, still generates royalties on a monthly basis. After doing some research, Victor realzied that no one was leading the pack in a way that would put Chicago Ghetto House and Juke back on the map! As an original producer of Ghetto House and Juke Music, Victor has all the right to claim this label and put Original Ghetto House Production on the map! With unreleased vocals by DJ Rashad (R.I.P.) & Chi-Boogie (R.I.P.), this Record Label will take the foundations of real Chicago Style Ghetto House and Juke Music to the next level.
