As seen in the tagline, Nashville Music Guide has been around since 1995 - whether online or print - we have continued our journey of promoting the music that comes in and out of the Greater Nashville area. We have always prided ourselves in giving independents, newcomers, legends, and more the opportunity to be heard and seen. For years, it was a black and white bimonthly paper that focused on th
e Country music entertainment industry, news and more that was coming from Music Row and numerous other Country publicists across the country. They successfully promoted events, showcase, writers nights, and always were up on new faces in Nashville’s music scene. After Brad passed away, Dan decided that he was done with the music journalism and wanted to focus more on screenwriting. In 2010 he sold the magazine to Randy Rich and with the help of his nephew, “Big” Joe Matthews, they gave the publication a facelift. The publication transformed into a monthly, full-color magazine that catered to not just the Country scene in Nashville, but other genres of local bands and music coming into Nashville. The publication whether online or in print has covered the likes of artists including Willie Nelson, Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Cage the Elephant, Alabama Shakes, George Jones, Josh Thompson, Johnny Neal, Styx, Robin Meade, The Judds, Bon Jovi and more. Some of the categories that we cover in our content include music industry news, Music Row Nashville news, music journalism, Country music news, Rock music news, Americana music news, Bluegrass music news, Folk music news, Country legends news, new faces in music, upcoming artist news, music business news, music legal tips, music copyright tips, music business tips, music industry tips, music professionals, music performers, music album reviews, song reviews, music video reviews, music awards news, and more. The Nashville Music Guide is an outlet to promote artists that are chasing their dreams and it has touched so many lives with its stories, connections, and the hard-working team that makes it all happen.
