Watching Kennedy Blades step onto the mat at the Olympic Games and compete at the highest level was nothing short of extraordinary. Seeing her embrace the moment, rise to the challenge, and earn a silver medal in her very first Olympics was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when talent meets relentless dedication.

Kennedy’s journey to this point has been marked by unwavering discipline, countless sacrifices, and an incredible work ethic that sets her apart. Every day, she pushes herself to be better, and it’s been a privilege to witness her growth—not just as an athlete, but as a person.

Coaching Kennedy has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. To see her compete on the world’s biggest stage and achieve what she has is a testament to her resilience and passion. I’m beyond proud of her accomplishments, and I’m excited for what’s still to come. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey! 🥈 🇺🇸 🇫🇷

Why I Started the Show

Starting in 7th grade my son discovered that a wrestling program had started at his school. Younger than all the kids in his class he was forced to deal with kids being kids by demonstrating their dominance due to being older, stronger, in better shape, etc. As parents we said "Go for it!" It will at the very least teach you to defend yourself. Little did I know that I was about to become part of a family, a lifestyle, I like to call it a secret mafia. Over the last 2 years I learned why they say "Wrestling is Life" and not just a sport. I have watched my child begin to grow into an amazing young man with his head held high and demonstrating great self esteem and his confidence is growing. With all that being said, I also entered a circle of wrestling parents, coaches, and referees that really truly do it for the kids. Nowhere have I ever felt more welcome or have seen people come together and care so much about all the kids, not just their own. Young men are going from the wrestling room on to becoming amazing adults in society, INCREDIBLE! SO..... Still "Why The Show?" you ask. I wanted to create a platform where parents and wrestlers can listen to the successful journeys of others in the sport, learn and hear from college coaches around the nation and get to meet some of our nations amazing high school, club, and youth coaches who are building the foundation and are behind the scenes spending countless hours with these boys and girls. "I HOPE IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE"
