Prayers for our Sacred Heart family.

A fire at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrence, NE.
"RENOVATIONS WERE ALMOST COMPLETE" says Bishop James Conley. "Thanks be to GOD nobody was hurt and it was discovered early in the morning and the church was saved."

Parishioners are encouraged to attend mass at either St. Stephen in Lawrence or Assumption in Deweese.

AMERICAN LEGION MEMORIAL DAY ACTIVITIES
9:30 Service at Nora Cemetery
10:15 Service at Nelson Cemetery
11:00 Service at Veteran’s Plaza
Keynote speaker will be Ross Koehler of the recently formed United States Space Force. Special dedication of plaque in front of American Flag at the Plaza which was donated by the family of Merle Follmer in her memory. Traditional community dinner served by the Legion Auxiliary following the service at the Plaza. In addition, the Legion Clubhouse will be expanding Friendship Friday hours to welcome visiting alumni.
