Serpents of Pakhangba vinyl LP out fairly soon on Nauscopy / Cult of Lamashtu. S.O.P. are an occult-themed experimental group from India. IPECAC RECORDS wanted to release these guys but they are letting me release it instead! If you google "Serpents of Pakhangba", you'll find their bandcamp - trust me, it's worth it. They're amazing.

Hi everyone! I have come up with a name for the upcoming LP. "Spices for the Altar: Exotica on 78 rpm". Let me know what you think of the name. Also - I have finished mastering and sequencing Side A onto tape! On to Side B!

A brief history of the label

Nauscopy started off as a cassette tape list in California back in 1991. I grew up in New Hampshire but lived briefly on the west coast starting in October 1990. My dream was to put out an LP compilation of lo-fi snippets revolving around people I was in contact with. This dream came to life in 1996, when I was able to release it as a CD. Later, in 2001, I finally released my first LP, split between my own audio shenanigans and those of a penpal in Indiana. The label grew to release several more LPs after that, of various genres. Currently in the works is a completely analog pressing of a compilation of 78 rpm records from Asia and Africa, as well as an avant-garde endeavor.
