What many don’t understand is that I was sent to Fort Worth on an assignment—not everyone is chosen for a purpose like this. God knew the storm was coming, and He prepared me. Not only did He prepare me, but He also placed His hand on my sons’ lives. Everything that has happened is part of His plan. Every attack, every attempt to destroy us, has only reinforced the calling on my life and theirs.

The enemy didn’t just come for me alone; y’all had to recruit others to try to bring me down. But let me warn you—be careful who you come against, because when God assigns someone, no storm, no system, no scheme can prevail. He equipped me and my sons long before the storm even formed.

You’ve tried to use systems and structures to destroy us, but those same systems are about to be dismantled. 2025 is the year we disrupt the order. The very weapons you formed against us have only pushed us closer to our purpose. God’s protection has been unwavering, His peace unshakable, and His plan undeniable.

You didn’t break me—you propelled me into purpose. Every trial, every attack, has aligned me more closely with the vision God has placed in my heart. We move with purpose, with faith, and with power. And what God has called us to do, no man, no system, no storm can stop.

The time for change is now. What was meant to destroy us has only made us stronger, and we are here to fulfill the assignment.

🚨 Black Leadership Failing Black Youth 🚨

Alisa Simmons for Tarrant County Commissioner, Precinct 2, as a Black woman in leadership, you are in a position to protect and uplift our community. Instead, you’ve allowed retaliation, trauma, and systemic failure to devastate Black families like mine.

How can I, as a single Black mother, tell my 3- and 4-year-old daughters to look up to you when you are complicit in the trauma they’ve endured? My daughters deserve a role model, not someone who stands silently while the system weaponizes power against them.

My 4-year-old recites the Pledge of Allegiance, proudly believing in the promise of this country. But little does she know, the same flag she pledges to is one that has failed to provide her with basic peace and safety in her own home. In America, that isn’t a right—it’s a privilege, and even that has been stripped away.

You’ve stood by as elected officials abused their power against my family in retaliation for my fight against the corruption of Judge Alex Kim and others. How can you allow this to happen? You’ve failed to protect our Black youth, who are:
• Detained without education, leaving them vulnerable to systemic failure.
• Denied coping skills, making them prey to a system that exploits their pain.
• Trapped in a cycle where they can’t even understand a plea deal because they haven’t been taught to read.

You know the struggles of being Black in America. You know what it means to fight harder for every opportunity. Yet, you’ve chosen to betray your community by staying silent while my family, and countless others, suffer.

Our Black children deserve better—better leaders, better advocates, and better futures. Leadership is more than words. It’s action. And your lack of it is contributing to the downfall of our youth.

Shame on you. It’s time to do better, not for your image, but for the children like mine who are watching and hoping for change.

A broken system, unchecked power, and children’s futures at stake. Alex Kim, still a judge over the 323rd District Court in Tarrant County, has made life-altering decisions without understanding basic mental health conditions like ADHD and psychosis. How can someone so uninformed have the authority to decide what’s best for our children?

When I challenged this system, he threatened to take my kids. He broke federal law by sending my 17-year-old son to county jail, exposing him to unnecessary trauma—all for an alleged offense before his 17th birthday, which by law should have been handled as a juvenile case.

And over what? A burnt piece of carpet. No evidence. No fire squad. No urgency. Police didn’t even come until a week later! Yet my family was thrown into chaos for a minor accusation that wouldn’t hold up under real scrutiny.

But it’s not just my son—these unjust, life-altering decisions disproportionately affect our Black youth. If you can’t read, how can you comprehend a plea deal? How can you knowingly sign your rights away without understanding what’s happening? This system is not designed to protect—it’s designed to exploit and destroy.

And through all of this, I’ve found my purpose. What the enemy thought would destroy me has only driven me into my mission. This fight isn’t just about my family; it’s about justice for every child, every parent, and every community impacted by this broken system.

It’s heartbreaking to see my son, Jaylen, endure such an unjust legal process. How can someone with an intellectual disability be expected to fully understand a plea deal, let alone go to trial when there has been no discovery or evidence presented? Even more troubling, the alleged victim signed an affidavit of non-prosecution. Despite Jaylen’s repeated requests for a change in his legal representation, nothing has been done. As his legal guardian, I know he doesn’t fully comprehend the gravity of what he’s being pressured to sign. This feels more like an attempt to target me, but it’s innocent lives that are being destroyed in the process.

It’s disheartening to see people prioritize their political ambitions over the well-being of others, forgetting that one day the tables could turn, and it could be their own children affected—whether that’s Mayor Mattie Parker’s sons, her adopted daughter, O’Hare’s many children, or Judge Alex Kim’s son. I am determined to hold everyone involved accountable. They may think this is the end, but I serve a God who is bigger than any challenge. Justice will prevail.

Jasmine Crockett it’s unfortunate that some people don’t understand what true character means. True character is about doing the right thing when no one is watching—not just when there’s an audience. Sadly, that’s exactly what’s missing with Tarrant County Commissioner Alisa Simmons.
