It is time to declare and decree daily positivity over yourself and your life!
I am not sure about you but many individuals (family, friends – or so I thought they were –, those whom I thought loved me or that I loved; those in ministry, supervisors, coworkers, leaders, etc.) have spoken negativity over my life (and come to find out, some not so good words were spoken over my life before I was born – still in the womb). Numerous hurtful words, actions and expressions that to this day I sit back and wonder if the person(s) really understood the negative and harmful impact those words would have on me and on my life (mentally, emotionally and ultimately physically from eating my feelings). Some knew the long-term effects their poisonous words would have. Others, maybe not so much. At some point in life, I realized that I had two options: (1) I could allow their damaging and toxic statements to either destroy me or (2) use those venomous untruths to help raise me to a place where I needed to be elevated. I chose option two. It was at that place I hit the reset button and began to take back my life by declaring and decreeing positive affirmations. With God’s Word, His help and His love, I began to blot out, overtalk and over speak over my own life. It took a few years but once in that place, I was untouchable because of who God said I am. I was unattainable because God’s Word gave me such assurances. I was and still am inaccessible to such slanderous tomfoolery. I turned those positive affirmations into Afromations and walk now knowing my lineage and whose I am with my head held high, no looking back and walking into the calling the Lord has spoken over my life. With these Afromations, may you do the same and encourage someone else along the way.
These Afromations are for everyone to help encourage, uplift, inspire, reassure, elevate and catapult you into who God says you are. Even if you do not believe in God or acknowledge Him, He believes and acknowledges you.
