Thank you NCSO for your quick response!

On June 14, 2022 members of the public contacted the Sheriff’s Office and reported strange behavior by a male subject at the Lake Wildwood Pool. The report was assigned to the Major Crimes Unit for investigation. Detectives identified the subject as Christopher Lupton who had been released on bail pending trial on a previous case involving child po*******hy.

A search was ultimately conducted at the subject’s house where detectives recovered an electronic device that Lupton was prohibited from having pursuant to his bail terms. A search of the device revealed additional child po*******hy. Detectives contacted Lupton at his residence and he was taken into custody and booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. Detectives contacted the court following the arrest and obtained a bail modification, making him ineligible for bail at this time.

We would like to thank the public for contacting us when they observe suspicious behavior.
