Getting to Know my Community

My husband and I moved to Lake Wales from the East Coast of Florida four months ago.

I moved from an area in Florida where we lived for over 15 years, did a lot of networking , was a member of more than one Chamber of Commerce, and generally supported many in the community through educational events, like Lunch & Learns and Workshops.

It has been challenging getting to know individuals and small businesses in the area and so I decided that one way to stay in contact with the community is to find out about events and news in the area and share these with you.

I will not be sharing anything political on my page and ask that readers respect that. There are many other forums where that option exists.
