Fact: Listening to your audience is the best marketing tactic.

You heard it here first: actually LISTENING to what youraudience has to say - listening to their wants, needs, and struggles, and paying attention to their reactions is the MOST valuable thing for your business!

Your audience is actually telling you EXACTLY what they want and need from you - all you have to do is deliver that to them.

Here are a few key things to start paying attention to today:

Look at your insights every month - what types of content are you getting the most comments on? The most saves? The most shares? These are the topics/graphics/photos your audience is finding most valuable.

Look at the content THEY are creating! What are they writing about? What are they thinking about? What are they sharing? This will give you very specific insight into who they are and what makes them tick.

• Are you using poll stickers just for fun (like coffee vs. tea)? Start using them to ask your audience real, high-value learning questions.

If you can't be social, you shouldn't be on social media. 🚫

One of the BEST ways to see success on social media is to remember the SOCIAL element of it! So many businesses get caught up in the content storm - from ideating, to curating, to creating, and posting - we get it, it keeps you busy. But what good is working on all of that content if you can't make it work for you!?!

Here's the truth: Your business should NOT be on social if you're not able to keep up with every element required for success - including community management (a.k.a talking to your community). You're actually hurting your own success more than helping it if you are on social and not responding to comments and messages!!!

Many businesses overlook the value of direct contact with current and potential customers - they think the value of their content is all that matters. And while
impressive content IS important, it's not the be all and end all.

You know what is? If you guessed engagement, we're giving you a virtual high-five!

Engagement is EVERYTHING on social media - and if this stat proves anything, it's that engagement is EVERYTHING to your current and potential clients, too!

When it comes to content creation you should have two
key things in mind for every single thing you
post:
1️⃣Will my audience find this helpful/valuable?
2️⃣Will this move the needle forward for my business?
This is where the 80/20 rule comes in:
👉🏻80% of your content (if you're posting 7 days/week,
that's 5 posts) should be focused on sharing things
that your audience will find valuable, interesting,
informative, educational, entertaining, etc.
👉🏻 20% of your content (if you're posting 7 days/week,
that's 2 posts) should be focused on talking about your
offering - maybe that's answering FAQs about it, or
showing it in use.
Your ultimate goal when it comes to your content
should be:
⭐️ To offer valuable insight in a unique perspective
that your audience can't get anywhere
else.
